70% of a good weld or welding is the preparation work you must do before you begin. You would have so much better results if you prep your work before welding. Great video tho 👍🏻👍🏻

I'm questioning why you didnt take a piece of that plate and weld it on top for the Anvil face??? You can still do that and have a much more usable working Anvil!! UPDATE when completed.....

I appreciate your suggestion, and I did consider using a piece of that plate to weld it on top of the Anvil face. However, in this particular project, I decided to use the plate as a basis to make it stronger. I understand that using it on top might have resulted in a more usable working Anvil. Thank you for pointing that out. It's important to acknowledge that the first project may have some mistakes, but it's through these mistakes that we learn and improve. Thank you for your valuable input.

That's an anvil shaped object, not an anvil.
The reebar is to soft for an anvil ....need to harden it ...
