Sometime i turn rusty scrap into useful shiny stuff. This time i took a rusty bolt from scrap and turned it into a beautiful oil pocket lighter. I also used some brass piece to make it more attractive and beautiful.
Dimensions: It is a fully working 3 inch cylindrical lighter to held easily in pocket and its cylinder is almost 3 by 4 inches in diameter weighs ≈ 130 grams.

The machinery is amazing! I worked on the turning machine for quite a few times and loved the experience!
For a person that can't do _any_ of what I've just watched there is a lot of complex & intricate work being done here.

A lovely item although lighters are not used so much now. I have found they are useful to have around.. What would be nice is a decent sized table lighter and a nice oven/stove lighter. My spark that came with the cooker is broken and I have a plastic manual lighter. I could never afford your work but it would be nice to see.

You were supposed to add a small chain linking the lighter cover to the body of the lighter so that you don't have to lose the cap if you know what I mean.

Make one yourself and then do that, know it all
You've got some talent! One suggestion though. You need to make and put two small brass spacers, or for accent, turn and make them out of the same metal so they look chrome, and put them in between flint tube/striker body and lighter body because after you screwed the flint tube/striker body to the lighter body there is a small bow/bend. Plus it'll cover up the threads. Just a thought. Either way, very nice!!!

Not sure how that red locktite will hold up to lighter fluid but the flange design will still allow a mechanical seal. Awesome trench lighter.

Could you have made it with the cap being loosely attached to the side of the lighter when removed so you wouldn't have to worry about losing it one day? This build was super dope 👌 just had a little thought about the cap. Anyways, keep making more awesome stuff because its really dope seeing something so beautiful created from a piece of junk that anyone would throw out and find useless but not you!!
