Turning Rusted Bolt into a Beautiful Bolt action BALL PEN

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Sometime i turn rusty scrap into useful shiny stuff. This time i took a rusty bolt from scrap and turned it into a beautiful Bolt action BALL PEN. I also used some brass piece to make it more attractive and beautiful.
This is a light weight Ball pen and very useful in my daily life.

in my high school there was lathes and mills in the welding shop, i just asked my welding teacher if he could show me how to use them. they are quite simple to understand but very versatile and with the two machines above along with some other basic tools you can literally make anything that's how i started machining, but there are plenty of other steps you can take before trying to get ahold of a massive lathe or milling machine. woodworking is easier to get into in my opinion, and can leave the exact same satisfactory results. all you need is a piece of wood, some basic tools (a jigsaw can be used accurately and effectively in place of many other more expensive tools, that's all i had for a long time.), and a plan. when i was a kid i made my mom a set of wind chimes, all it took was some research to get everything just right (thank god there are people on the internet smarter than us), some old copper pipe, piece of wood i got from an old dresser, and thread. all of the technical stuff like pipe material, length, frequency are all made into calculators so i just had to put in the pipe material, thickness, diameter, and the frequency i wanted, and the equations they use spits out the different lengths of pipe you need to get the sound you want. im telling you this because the internet is helpful for so many things. most of the time, someone else has already done the hard work for you. you just gotta find where they wrote it down!

Smithing is a skill that I believe that everyone should learn and put into regular practice. I really admire the artistry that you put into this bolt pen. 🏆
