the white box is needed for your power locks to work when using a 99-00 harness. it is also for the keyless entry also. if you want to that to add a keu fob. there should be a plug for it on the driver side kick panel.

Super nice man, I’m also in the process of making my ek completely black. The dash is the hardest component to make black so I just got a full dark grey interior swap for the lower half. For the headliner/pillars/visors I went all black. I think it looks so good

I seen people wrap their kick panels and consoles in blk suede, looks sweet. I got lucky with my Hatch because it came with a ton of extra interior parts , alot in blk.. I'm still collecting odds and ends..
