I put the texture on vivid light at 28% opacity instead of hard light. Works really well with my logo. Awesome video!

after grouping the three layers and adjusting the overlay to e0ab1c to 100% there is no change still no texture is displayed

Yeah, the color that you start with doesn't matter. It will change when you make the edit.

Great Tutorial. I had to do it a few times to get it right, but it worked out in the end. How can I make this logo on a transparent background?

You can just remove the background layer then it will be transparent.

You will have to restart if you want a different logo. Unless if you make it into text form and not rasterize the the layer.

OMG I'm loving this! question: 5:33 I made sure I'm selecting the mask not the black layer, yet the brush doesn't reveal the background, what could I be doing wrong?? THANK YOU Love that theres no useless chatting, right to the point with written instructions. My kind of tutorial!!!!!!

Add a hue/Saturation adjustment layer on top. Select Colorize the change to any color.

once ur done with making it gold do u just save it as a picture

Yes, you can save it as a jpeg.

It doesn't have that chrome affect to it, but I will accept it. My Logo came out pretty decent.
