I know this is a year old however I turn my hotspot on it works fine however if the box is rebooted or loses power it turns the portable hot spot to off. Any suggestion on how to save this?

Does the speed of the Ram and the size of the Rom on the box determine how fast your wifi speed wil be when using a android box for wifi hotspot?

My cell phone is connected via Android x96mini hotspot...it shows connected but no internet on cell phone whereas internet is working perfectly on Android x96mini.. could you help please?

Question: Can you connect your TV Box to Another TV Box wireless via Hotsopit or Wifi? I have one downstairs and one upstairs and the one downstairs has a External device with content on it...can you connect the Box with the External Device to another device why Hotspot or Wifi or possibly via a Rooter with No internet connection if this makes sense?

so will you definitely need enthernet cable to get the hot spot running or is enthernet just another way to do it ? could you possibly turn on hotspot without enthernet cables?

Hi Martez, As long as you have the internet (ethernet or WiFi) you can use hotspot

No the wifi turns off when you use wifi hotspot wich leaves you with no wifi to share so nothing will work

That's the main reason I left Nvidia Shield alone for that. It was giving major problems but maybe it has gotten better. I use the M8S for my retro gaming

I'm trying cut the cord pretty much I wanna be able to pretty much have hi speed Internet WiFi would be preferred so I can switch to a android box an get kodi. I want good WiFi without paying that ridiculous money that most people are willing to pay ....fuck that!!!

+Kerianne Johnson You need internet so you'll need some type of a provider. You can't get around that. But, you can get a box and be very dedicated to kodi. That's one way to cut the cord. Are you looking for network channels...
