    Exaggeration of a turn on the forehand is in the rodeo. Bull & bronc riding! Now that is elevation & moving over of the hind legs. KZread playback speed @ slow motion. Jumping horses on the landing & heading off to the right.🤔 VERY GRATEFUL

    @@JSHorsemanship I'm so glad I found this channel. I wish you were closer! I've had horses for years and for the first time I'm working with a young horse that isn't established. Watching your videos gives me another point of view to consider.

    As this is being ridden in a dressage saddle, I think it would be helpful to mention that TOTH should be 4-beat - the horse needs to keep the 4-beat walk and not pivot on the front legs. TOTH should have a forward feeling to it, not a stuck and spin vibe :)

    OK SO ... MY RIGHT SEAT BONE SHOULD BE WEIGHT BEARING AND A WEE BIT FORWARD, YES ?? Lesson weight off the hindquarters so they may elevate and move forward/ left, yes ??

    Turn on FOREHAND to the LEFT. RIGHT FRONT LEG 🦵🦶is the planted/ pivoting 🦵🦶. Yes ?? Pic of a horse attempting to swat a fly atop his RIGHT HQ. Yes ??

    The pivoting foot (which should stay relatively still)on the TOTH should be the inside hindleg, not the outside hindleg. The horse should balance itself on the inside hindleg on the TOTH, except on a pirouette (at a canter), where the push and balance are on the outside leg due to the canter.
