@@SurfacedStudio I received the email, but no download link. It says "click below" in the mail but there is nothing to click. This is with the demo version.

I've tried to get the demo to try it out, but it won't let me download it without filling in the billing information, it doesn't ask for payment information only the billing address and name and such. Is there another way to try the demo before I decide to purchase it and give my information?

Just put in some fake billing address, it’s not needed at all for the download to work. I just can’t disable it in Shopify even if it’s for digital products

Would love to try the app, went to the site, and ordered it. Received the email with a link to download it. The page says to click below to download, nothing to click on.

Hm, that seems strange. Is it missing a button? Did you get it working in the end? Or would you be able to share a screenshot with me of what you received? Worst case I can send you an email with the link

If I have a novation launchpad, when setting the macros, can I also set colors? or how do you do that

There’s no capability to send signals back to the device yet to trigger functions such as pad colours. It’s something on my long term roadmap but not sure when I’ll get to it :)

I've been looking for something like this for ages... Does it support knobs for multiple volume controls? Like controlling individually the browser, discord, music player, etc...

Hi and thanks for your great comment! At the moment it's simple MIDI notes (single buttons) mapped to macros, but I'll put it on my future ideas list. I'm not sure how I'd control volume or other app-native controls, but it's a cool idea :)

@@SurfacedStudio Have a look into the windows volume mixer, that's what I'm talking about, there should be a way to tie knob functionality to them similar to what go xlr does. But that's just for volume, there has to be a way to do it system wide. Imagine people doing graphics or 3d design, the power this would give them to map a slider to a knob when applying color grading or fine tune parameters. I do both music and design, and being able to use the same tool for both would be game changer, considering I have the arturia MK2 with a tone of knobs :D

hi, the app seems to be freezing after i try assigning the sound to a keypress, any ideas on how to fix it? i love the idea and would definitely buy it if it worked as intended. love the ui design

Thank you for the great feedback! Is it a specific sound you’re trying to assign? I can see if I can reproduce the issue on my machine as well. Would love to get it fixed! What OS are you on and how big is the sound file?

No worries at all @@otakusatanist ! Could you tell me what you were 'doing wrong'? Would love to prevent the app from freezing even if it's trying to do something that's not meant to be supported. Rather have an error show up than the app freeze :)

@@SurfacedStudio i think i was clicking "change", pressing a button, not clicking set and pressing assign, the app goes full grey and you have to restart it. you could block the option of clicking "assign" while changing keys. thanks for your dilligence!

@@SurfacedStudio oh, your program also does not differentiate between numpad 1-9 and normal 1-9 which is a shame, as that's 15 more keys someone could allocate.

I have MPK mini, can a knob mapped to PC volume control?

Not at the moment, but that's a great idea. I think the nobs send different midi signals and I'm not sure I can give control over volume, but it's something going on my futures idea list :)

I’m by no means a professional, I just do this on the side for fun :) Took about 6 months back in the days to get comfortable with AE for me

What is the difference between the demo and the paid app?

At the moment the Demo is limited to 5 macros max :) I need to add that to a startup popup to make it clearer

Anything that would accept a standard keyboard shortcut will work :) The tool essentially converts MIDI signals your computer receives into shortcuts / actions

Thanks for the comment :) Technically the tool is built on Electron which can compile down to Linux, I don't currently have a linux OS available though. I'll keep the idea though!
