Turmoil in the Middle East | ClubGPF Preview with George Friedman and Hilal Khashan
Middle East expert Hilal Khashan wrote in his January 23rd piece titled ‘The Middle East as a Powder Keg’ that resolving the region’s issues will be on hold pending resolution of the conflict in Gaza. In a recent ClubGPF live discussion, Dr. Khashan was joined by GPF Chairman George Friedman to discuss current conditions, why Israel is reluctant to make any kind of deal, and what a Palestinian state could look like if one was created.

Mohammed , don’t cry
I don’t think the USA want to be a part of the Middle East, it’s not as important for the USA as in the past mostly for Europe and Asian countries which can sail around the North Pole in the future with less ice in the ocean. And the USA should start taking their debt seriously in my opinion, before they get a new credit rating increases as Israel just did, even a small increase will be a big problem with the gigantic debt that the US has, when all of that is refinanced at a higher rate the party of playing rich and acting like a fool will be over for the USA
