So much better than PIZZA! Turkish LAHMACUN is the BEST of THE BEST!
As a little boy going to perform Hajj by road from UK 55 years ago with my family, I remember having this kebab in Istanbul Bazaar. It was one of the best and tastiest kebabs I have ever eaten. One day I will travel to Istanbul again for this. IN SHAA ALLAH.

I just came back yesterday from a trip to Istanbul. I had Lahmacun and it was wonderful but so was all the other food, breakfasts, kebabs, menemen, desserts. And it's a fantastic city. I hope you get there soon.

In 1980 I was stationed at Incirlik near Adana. Lahmacun was love at first bite. I've never had it as good outside of Turkey, where you mostly find some rolled up, sauce laden piece of crap they refer to as a Turkish Pizza. I'd so love to have a real lahmacun back in Adana.

Si quieres hacerlo, Iván yarza tiene un vídeo en el canal de David Robinfood, que se llama para los que nunca harían pizza y en la segunda parte del vídeo hace esa pizza turca. Yo la hice y está muy buena, no sé si es exactamente igual. Si te apetece puedes buscarla. Un abrazo♥️

Нелёгкая эта работа,перетереть зелень и овощи в однородную массу,сейчас столько всяких приспособлений для измельчения овощей,а турки делают это традиционно вручную,этим наверное и славится эта полезная еда,спасибо за показ,как это готовится,очень хочеться попробовать,я никогда не была в Турции.Всем здоровья,мира,радости и счастья.

I've eaten Lahmacun ("Turkish pizza") in Berlin many times before, but the version served in Germany is different. It has way less meat and is served with fresh salad (usually red cabbage, lettuce, onions, tomato and cucumber) and a sauce of your choice (garlic, herb or spicy sauce). You can also have it filled with döner meat, if you like. Then it is rolled up like a burrito.

Soon the Chinese, the Japanese, etc., etc. I wouldn't be surprised if they say "This dish is ours" Likewise, they claim the same thing for doner kebabs, baklava, Turkish delight, etc., etc.n How come there are no shops that do it in their country!
