The reason why he's disciplining his men in this scene is because the outpost needed reinforcements. The captain is part of the reinforcements and he lead his men through a shortcut in order to get to the outpost faster. They were ambushed along the way and he lost some men. When they arrived at the outpost they found the soldier pulling guard duty asleep. So they crept into the outpost and got settled in without a sound hearing. That's why he tells everyone they are dead. If they weren't friendlies all of them would've been killed in their sleep.🇹🇷💯

Guys this might be a scene from a movie but turks caming from central Asia for over 1000 years have a tausend year of military heritage, turks are a military culture even before they are in the today's area in middle east. They are extremely combative, super proud and honor is something that is rooted in their DNA especially in a military context.

Bunu kendin düşün ama böyle dile getirme. Irkçılık gibi anlaşılıyor. Mesela asker olmakta bizim için şeref ama başka milletler için asker demek zorba aptal insan anlamına geliyor. Bunun nedeni onların ülkesinde askerlik bir meslektir ve en cahilleri asker yaparlar. Bizde ki gibi şerefli ve saygı duyulan insanları değil.
