Had a friend fall like that. He wore a cage on his leg for a year. Had to tighten the pins every week.

Killed my first public land gobbler the other day. It’s a whole other type of Turkey hunting. I’m not used to having that much land to work with! Made me respect what y’all do a lot more! The morning I killed him I didn’t roost him the night before but found him in the morning and was able to get 60 yards from him on the roost in daylight. Hunt worked out perfect.

“Ground squirrel. It’s a gray squirrel but on the ground.” This is totally something I would say.

Man!!! I just got busted for getting a mosquito off my eyebrow. He periscoped a hill at 30 yards as I was scratching! He gobbled once at my call and 10 minutes later he was 30.

Idk about the rest of people in america but its something about a gobble that gets u fired up about hunting plus u can find morel mushrooms deer sheds, look at all the blood root and plants popping up its a magical time of the year no matter what state your in. Theres hunting pressure even by me and im on private land its not only public 😂😂😂

That’s less people than a few years ago. I remember in the mid 2000s at least in Arkansas we would see 5-7 trucks where we now see 0-1

State land is or at least was, 1 pm. However, national forest land is FEDERAL. All day hunting allowed.I hunted there couple years ago.

Hunters are just pigs these days. I looked down alot of barrels. Ive quit turk hunting a couple times. Now i go late season and afternoons. When the riff raff is gone

As a fellow Hoosier hunter, I apologize for those bums. It is not cool to pull into or next to someone's campsite and walk past them to hunt. Public land is first come, first serve. I will state that those guys who would do that are very likely the types that litter, use electronic calls, and are idiots.

I love yalls shows, but the popularity of shows like this, social media, and apps like ON X have exploded the crowds on Public. Everybody thinks they're a turkey hunter. Way less deer hunters on Public than Turkey hunters. States are also cashing in, Many WMA's that used to be quota hunts are now open, this tells me the state wants the quantity over quality. Now there's fees just to draw Non resident tags because of the boom. I've hunted public for 38 years and I can tell you I have never seen the amount of hunters hunting turkeys than I do now. Opening day in MS I had 2 18 year olds walking towards a gobbler who parked behind me, both holding fans. Its just a matter of time before people are shot in the face daily on Public.

Hey Zack. I see that you forgot to mention the two guys you cursed out in the road for supposedly messing up your hunt. That’s a crying shame as well. Y’all are supposed to be the prime representation of how to handle public land hunting pressure. After that particular incident I don’t believe I’ll be watching y’all anymore.
