I live in the upstate. Public turkey hunting here is some of the hardest in the nation. Over pressured, hilly terrain, thick cover, thorns, and quiet birds. Prepared to be humbled in the most beautiful ways.

Welcome to my home state. Upstate WMAs can be some of the toughest hunting but most rewarding. Happy to see y'all finally in SC. Come back during the deer tour sometime. Enjoy your time, I miss home so much. Still got almost a month still to wait up here in the northeast

It looks like some of the land around Newberry.

South and North Carolina can be very challenging to hunt. I love that area because of all the thick trees. It's amazing during deer season.

Hope it’s going well for you all here in South Carolina. It’s been windy here for the opener, sure it’s hard hearing last few days.. Zach, I’ve spent several mornings listening where you were. It’s definitely a pretty spot and I was actually looking forward to seeing if you would walk to the bottom..I’ve done it! Whoever shot down below was Very committed to be where they were..depending on where they went in..Don’t know how you would do it but if you all get in a pickle here, you can look me up.

Zach you should look into Lasik. You won't regret, one of the best decisions I've made, especially for hunting.

I know yall probably don't care, but I'm really glad to see yall putting what state you're in in the title again. I get not spot burning and all, but its nice to at least know the state so we can all have the most general of ideas of where you're at. I hope yall get back to doing that with deer videos as well. It changes the expectations of what I'm watching.

Welcome to SC lol. I was born and raised here in Oconee County SC and it’s hard hunting public birds. I got a nice bird on private the day after opening.

@@EasternMountainHunters They should take you up on it. These guys are good no doubt but non-resident turkey hunting ain’t cheap in South Carolina. I thought about inviting them to 180 acres I can hunt that borders public land outside walhalla but It’s going to be two weeks before I get back.

Y'all boys should have come to Abbeville SC we got a lot of good hunting down here for deer and turkeys and hog and coyotes. I got some really nice toms on camera i could have put ya on.

That looks like what locals call the horse pasture. It's rough terrain for days. I'm from pickens County sc its really tough here.

I can't imagine Zach having a knee injury. He's so careful and safe.

Heck yea I hunt in upstate SC and I just bagged a double bearded gobbler today. Unfortunately I got to wait until after the 10th to hunt again! GOOD LUCK GUYS. Also if you need some advice on upstate WMA’s I know a few spots with gobbling turkeys still.

Hops out the truck in sc instantly greeted by 2 hunting dogs with dead garmins on and a phone that is out off service on the tag… welcome to the south Lmao

I've had gobblers in WV public land gobbling their head off, call to them, and they shut up. Very call shy. Wouldn't surprise me if he stood in the same spot. I've had better luck slipping in as close as you can without being busted and giving them the absolute lowest call he can hear and barely call at all. Shy gobbler wants a shy girl. Zack, that fart sounded tampered with... lol. Good luck guys.
