That saw is gorgeous. Never thought about the cleats though, when me and my momma used to log we were constantly sliding around when the saw caught😂😂

I second that.. Found an old saw (kinda) similar to this one, and I would really like to restore it -and sharpen it..

Oiling it and storing it somewhere dry like in the case doesn’t allow for moisture to collect and rust the metal
