It’s factory as a NA but w a little turbo action it boosts the power a tad bit. Enough to fry the transmission.

If you crank the fuel up on the injection pump and add more air you can get quite a bit more power out of these little Diesel engines. Quite impressive and they are built like tanks

I know not all of these 455 have 4-wheel steering but that's what I like about these tractors plus they remind me of the GM pickup trucks from the 90s or at least the design

I bought the turbo, it is the same as a Garrett gt 15. The one I have is a Borg Warner that our turbo shop built, as far as everything else I built it all myself. There is not a kit to purchase for the build.

Not worth doing on a gas engine. You will have lots of trouble with the carburetor.

@@automotivekid3026 In order for a carb to work with a turbo it needs to be before the turbo (fuel and air mix goes trough turbo) or you can have the carburetor after the turbo but in order for that to work the pressure inside the fuel bowl needs to be higher than the boost pressure.

I know this is who years later but once you add a turbo to a diesel they tend to want to smoke more that’s just a simple explanation
