Tuning Comparison - Coconut Mall
Музыка
I had this melody in my head, so I decided to make a tuning comparison. The track is originally from the game "Mario Kart Wii".
I used following tuning systems:
0:00 12edo
1:05 19edo
2:03 26edo
3:00 31edo
3:58 43edo
4:56 46edo
5:54 50edo
6:51 55edo
7:49 17edo
8:47 22edo
9:45 5edo
10:42 23edo
11:40 7edo
12:38 29edo
13:36 41edo
14:33 53edo
15:31 72edo
Date of composition: 2024/05/11 - 2024/05/12

You know what? I am a regular viewer of your KZread Channel. I have seen all your videos and your content qualities are outstanding. I learned lots of things from you. Your channel has great quality content but still, it is not delivering its right audiences due to SEO problems. You should focus on your SEO so that You can get a big fanbase. Thanks.
Francium, I think you should put a hard antidiatonic edo in one of these tuning comparisons (like 11edo) without altering any of the accidentals/notes. (I think it sounds like it transitions from 9edo quite well.)
5edo sounds surprisingly nice here

Pentatonic scales are always nice
12:02 goes hard
I am addicted to this, help me
good comparison!
you are actually doing full orchestral covers...
Why is the modulation always from Gb to E? Wouldn't it make more sense to go from Gb to Fb?

It would make sense if E major or Fb major would be the final key to modulate to. But since the piece then modulates to F major and then to C major, it would be easier to modulate to E major than to Fb major. I don't want to imagine how a modulation from Fb to F would sound like in EDOs with a sharper fifth. And don't get me started with 23edo, the modulation would be a mess.
