Definitely man one of my best decisions I made with the car is getting the tune just wakes it up so much I currently have it on E85 now with no pops but it’s just amazing

The drive after the Tune reminds me why I love my 13 CLS63 AMG and should drive it more. Mine is stock but everyone always has a smile after the ride. I can't believe all the pops.

The pops are just crazy. I the moment I don’t have the pops on any more just to much gas plus going throw plugs. So I have the pops off but before a show or meet I put them back on it for a bit !

Honestly, love it and I have had a few revisions with the tuning on it but it’s great ! Super reliable

I got pulled over yesterday in Semi Valley on the highway for my exhaust, I have catless downpipes, no resonator and a stage 2 tune on my e63. So get use to that extra police attention.

Hey bro, awesome whip just wicked!!!, hey I have a question, when you tuned it was it possible to swith it between sports/sports+/comfort modes without the crackle and pops?? Like is there a mode where it works and if you wanted to be subtle and not so obnoxiously loud could you do so??? Just cause I want to get my CLS63 done too but only if I get this option of switching between awesomeness and grandma spec if you know what I mean hahaha

So sadly it is not like a BMW you cannot have the pipes on and off between tunes But when you learn how to drive the car you can drive it around perfectly fine without it popping as long as you don’t get too aggressive with it you can drive with ease and then when you want to put it in sport mode downshift it’ll pop like crazy

So when I was straight pipe with just the top cats I had no CEL but when I put the DP on with straight pipe. The CEL was on but then I tuned the car an the CEL turned right off

i have no clue about a race chip to be real but doing a straight pipe doesnt mess with the o2 no lights on the dash just when i went down pipes then the light came on when i didnt have a tune

Honestly nice tune.... idk if the "pop&bang time" should be that high.... I would lover it but otherwise dope!

@@LifeofFrankie yeah I've watched some of your others. The M157 is just an insane engine, I have it by myself. The tune is really nice but I think the exhaust temps are gonna explode "long term" and the turbos not gonna like it. For show purposes I think it is perfect :). Your videos are nice btw.

First thing right off the bat is you don’t have an AMG so ur motor can’t take the same abuse also ur transmission as well basically the drivetrain I feel that if you don’t push it to the limit and beat it up too bad you’ll be OK but every car is different Even on my AMG I don’t have it pushed to the max

Damn, it’s incredible, lol. A little overboard on the pops for me, just a bit. How many miles did it have when you bought it and how has it held up?? I know the cam position sensor is an issue on these. I forgot my list but there’s supposedly not to much, and this engine is supposedly pretty stout like the old M113k that was in my 2005 SL55. Got that thing up to around 680 crank hp and 770 lb-ft and some lighter bits. It was a rocket. Could give 650-700 hp super cars a run for their $$. I bet your CLS is similar. I also love the look of the headlights on the 2012-14’ models like yours. Was thinking about a E but it’s not much lighter and the CLS looks more aerodynamic. You awd??

So I’m RWD !! For the win lol not a fan AWD but yes AWD is faster. Also I agree the tune is way way overboard for pops lol I bought the car with 99k an now I’m at 122k so about 20k miles tuned now an couple is still runing amazing !

@@LifeofFrankie Thx. Yeah I’ve done my home work. The m157 twin turbo and old m113k 5.4 kompressor/supercharged are pretty much the best two engines they made and low maintenance provided they’re maintained.

I get performance tuning with the occasional crackle, but the fake popping is way overkill. Riced out an AMG..

If you watch some of my newer videos I’m now currently on e85 as well

I personally prefer low end, bass, grutural growl... like a thunder... a lion... a vulcan.... that´s a huge V8... I don´t want mine sounding like a high pitched pop corn machine or a 22 pistol shot.

@@LifeofFrankie How many miles are you at if I may ask? Where I live, labour is expensive, so for the installation of downpipes, I'm probably looking at about $2000. I would most likely just go with stage 1, if anything damages the cats, I'll then buy catless dps lol. Most people with burbles tunes on their Mercedes never get bad cats tbh, usually an O2 sensor fails because of burble tunes. It's impossible to find threads on cats going bad on a Mercedes due to a burble tune.

That’s bad ass man I used to have the 06 cls55 m113k I tuned it with raceiq as well ! But mine now is a 2012 cls63 with the m157 motor. You have a 07 63 so that means you have the first year of the 6.2 v8 na motor if you tune ur tune car you will definitely seen an increase but it’s not goin to be crazy like a supercharged or turbo car bc you don’t have boost but I will still encourage you to one bc it definitely helps
