In my 68 years I've never seen someone who has so much enjoyment in what he does! Even something like a tuna melt that I remember from my single-digit years is amped up with the Kent Rollins touch. I was stationed on the Korean DMZ in 1975. Our schedule was North Day, QRF Day, and off day. On my off days, I’d go to the NCO Club for a tuna melt with a cream of mushroom soup. Man, your video brings back memories, Kent. But I bet your Cheesy Tuna Melt on Sourdough is so much better than I remember. Thanks for sharing.

At one time my mother and I both worked nights at a hospital. We were big soap opera watchers too. Working nights and sleeping during the day made it almost impossible to catch our favorite soap. We figured out that the show was recapped every Friday. So every Friday I would get up and make us both tuna salad sandwiches and French Fries for lunch. Thank goodness the VCR finally made an appearance. We got our sleep, but the tuna sandwiches every Friday went by the wayside. Just the act of watching that show every Friday brings back fond memories! I used mayo, onion, pickle relish, hard boiled eggs and dressed the bread with lettuce and tomato. Yum!
