I think personally Ngeh was not a serious matter. If Muslim communities are peaceful as they project to be then they would handle it in a much better way rather than getting it out of hands. Frankly speaking, there was an incident where a Malay officer did not allow the worship song to be sung at an Indian cultural and religious event. Where did he come from? The case has been swept under the carpet and everyone pretends nothing has happened. Frankly, non-Malays would not mind hearing what their Islamic counterparts have to say or give their opinions on religion. We are not that sensitive and we welcome dialogues regarding the matter and would not try to injure anyone with arson attacks which Ngeh experienced.

Thank you both Kian Ming and Peter for the enlightening video and behind the curtain kind of explanation, and looking forward to your next show. By the way, this is my humble opinion, the loyalty of a Malaysian is determined by his or her contribution; it may be a concerned comedian feeding the poor, a dedicated teacher educating the young or a brave soldier guarding the border. Their contributions make Malaysia a happier, better, safer place. In other words, loyalty is not measured by one's race, culture or religion. So, is Dr.M , a loyal Malaysian ??

The orang asli were here b4 everyone else, but were progressively displace by first the Malays, then Chinese and Indians.None of the three major races have any more rights than the others.Chinese and Indians are in this conscribed situation because they voted along racial sentiment for MCA and MIC who both have no long term vision unlike Singapore's Lee Kuan Yew.Both communities should have voted for LKY like leaders.Look at the Indians in S'pore. They have only praise for LKY because they are treated equally like everyone else, all are equal citizens of S'pore. But here mamak Kutty cornered everything for himself, his family members n his cronies all in d name of helping Malays, as if the Malays created the planet earth.

I know Malaysia and Singapore is part of OECD AEOI system. Based on the tax residency info on foreign banks, the income transaction is being sent back to the home country, in out case LHDN. When I used to work in Brunei, I help implement this system for Brunei Tax agency. I know Malaysia is part of this, because we need to sign and declare our tax residency when opening new bank account or when updating detail on existing accounts. Same thing applies to Singapore bank. I don't see why we can't get the salary information for those who worked in Singapore, or any country that's part of this AEOI/CRS system.

Are you sure? Muslim sources say Muhammad had black slaves, so that is true, Muhammad had black slaves. And Muhammad said things that make you wonder what he thought about black people. From Sahih al-Bukhari, among the most trusted Islamic source next to the Quran itself, Muhammad said “You should should listen to and obey your ruler, even if he was an Ethiopian (black) slave whose head looks like a raisin" Volume 9, Book 89, Hadith 256. In Sahih Muslim 10:3901 Muhammad traded 2 black slaves for one white slave. And a number of Hadith emphasized how how white Muhammad was. Sunan an-Nasa'i 2092 says when a man asked which person was Muhammad, it was pointed out Muhammad was the white guy. And Sahih Muslim 2343 said Muhammad had a white complexion. . The lower value of black slaves and Muslim sources obsession with Muhammad's whiteness suggest that blacks were regarded as inferior by early Muslims.

Members of parliament have parliamentary immunity, which allows them to speak freely and without fear of legal repercussions while in the dewan. This immunity is important for promoting open and robust debate in the legislative body so they can express their opinions and represent their constituents without being sued or prosecuted for their statements made in parliament. However, from this incident we know that parliamentary immunity generally does not protect MPs from criminal acts or defamation committed outside of the dewan rakyat.

Actually, on the ground, overall MCA performs way way better for the rakyat (all the peoples and races) than DAP. Just based on their richer deeper pockets and much better organised machinery. DAP quite hopeless in this area. I think lack of funds is quite major. The only real MCA weakness at this point that has turned the Chinese against them wholesale is MCA's slimy slinking onto the same bed with PAS.

You guys seemed to have forgotten one big reason for the racist statements. Provocative statements like this are often made to deflect attention from a negative issue or scandal that is happening. Case in point: MACC investigations into himself and his sons. We have also seen such method being used a lot during Najib’s time as Prime Minister. It often involved Jamal Yunos.

I do agree with OKM’s point on YB Ngeh had made mistake on the procedure stuff, but I don’t agree to avoiding any discussion about it publicly. True it might cause hard feelings in some communities but isn’t that the job of the influenced to educate the people about learning to listen at voices from different perspectives? Should we just keep quiet and not speak up or suggesting or discuss because of an issue is sensitive? That’s unhealthy towards the democracy of a country. If people keep avoiding discussions, the conservatives will became even worst as they really think that is something shouldn’t be discussed, ending up people became more divided in the sense of political spectrum. We have to encourage discussion and listening instead of avoiding it just because of it’s a sensitive issue. But yes of course this is only my own thoughts and ideas on how things should be, and understand that Malaysian in majority are not prepared for this as our country had been polarised for decades due to political agendas and propagandas.

Seriously my comment about Mahathir will never be good. But his statement needs us to jump deep in our heart to understand it. Let's look at the positives side of the statement. Could it be because he failed to convince Chinese and Indian that Malaysia is belong to all Malaysian citizens or could it be his desperate move to save his family and cronies wealth from DSAI moved or could it be because he wants to trigger a malay support to PN or any others things possible. These issues should be discussed in open manner. We can't just stepped it and ignore. Our future generation doesn't need to argue over this issues anymore. I believe Mahathir did very good job to enriched Chinese and Indian. But where is the malay position in the economic power? Your podcast should include malay and indian inthe first place to discuss any matters. No difference between Mahathir statement and Ngeh statement. I can always view it as Ngeh instigating Chinese and Indian to be more robust towards their right in the constitution. Let's discuss it with harmony. Our future generation depends on us.
