Thanks for showing how you cut and used the worksheets for both rotary and Accuquilt. I use Accuquilt and I didn’t even think about adding the extra fabric needed for cutting onto the worksheet! Thanks for a fun block pattern 😊🎉

Love this quilt❤I found the pattern two years ago in one of my Mom’s quilt books from 1994. The wonderful quilter made her blocks 4x4! I knew I wasn’t going that small😂I enlarged it to 8x8. My goodness..what would we do without being able to square those blocks up! I did the top in Christmas fabrics because I had just purchased a large box of quilt fabrics from a quilter’s estate sale. The Christmas fabrics were in the bottom of box and were all in a sort of “Victorian” look (burgundy/gold/greens). Not something I would have purchased..but what a great Christmas quilt it turned out to be! Fabrics sometimes surprise us in the end! (KH)

Thank you showing the detail on the rotary cutting and going through the quilting apps. Forgot to download them after your last video. This quilt has alot of blocks and cutting; going to see if I can use the apps to make the blocks larger so there will be fewer blocks.

Using layer cakes would really make it go fast. You would need to make a test block to see the finished size of the block. Then put that size in the Sizing A Quilt calculator. Good luck and thanks for watching.

I just happen to have that Accuquilt BOB!!!😄😄😄. But just using a ruler and cutting looks very easy too. I’m going to give this a try both ways with so some of my guild’s fabrics! We’ve been trying to use up as much of the fsnruc we’ve had for some time so we can justify buying some new!!! stuff😄. I also just realized that I have the Accuquilt die that cuts charm squares!! I really need to make a list of what I have and keep it on my iphone and iPad. The list on the website doesn’t have every I have.

Maybe try layer cakes. Cut 4” from left and 4” from right. That should give you a BIGGER block😀. Thanks for watching.

Agree that it looks hard to line up when assembling the four. I think I would cut the four to the same size before assembling them. Otherwise who knows how I would line them up!

5 inches is about 13cm. Try cutting 5cm from left and 5cm from right to see how that looks. Good luck!
