Faiz is expert in expressing his feelings in very different and touchy way so is the same in this poem too. As far to do it in music I would give 💯 credit to Arshad Mehmood.

I tried to read this poem in dastangoi style but forgot one couplet...tina sani sang sooooooooo well

Nazia Hassan and Tina Sani has an aura of charisma and grace around themselves. Beautiful singers with beautiful soothing sweet voice not to mention both of them never forgot their Eastern roots which is explicitly reflected in their attires.

yes true....let me tell you more similarities about these both legends that Nazia and Tina were same school mates...The American School Karachi...Tina was one year senior than Nazia....but Tina started singing in her late teens...and Nazia used to sing even in her school days/music classes and even on PTV kids musical program as head by legendary music composer Sohail Rana. BTW might you know both Tina and Nazia belonged to very rich millionaire business class families. That is why Nazia and Tina both are highly educated from very posh schools and universities....and off course they never sang for money at all....they sang for their love for music and passion for music. Tough both have different music genres as Nazia was all for POP and Tina was for semi classical and Ghazal singing. Nazia got fame because of Biddu's compositions (the British Indian Music composer who made the composition and music arrangement for Aap Jesa Koi for Nazia) then Tina got fame for her singing of Faiz Ahmad Faiz poems and Ghazlas as composed by legendary music composer Arshad Mehmood

Messmerizing, poetry, composition and singing. One small mistake by Tina Sani pronouncing "aour" twice in the last few lines. It must have been pronounced 'aur' not 'aour' to match the composition and 'wazzan' of the couplets.
