I like how you guys are showing yourselves wearing the holsters you're reviewing. It drives me crazy when I'm trying to get an idea of how a holster will work for me and so many reviewers seem to skip that part.

I agree with you Andrew. Everyone that reviews a holster, they never wear it. They just talk about it. I want to see what it looks like on a person so I kind of know how it will look like on me. Great video!

I bought this holster based on this video and I’ve had the Tulster for my Glock 43 for about a week now. This is the most comfortable pure Kydex holster I’ve used. My previous Kydex holster would always cause my sights to pinch my side but not with the Tulster. Excellent holster and great review Hegshot!

They're really nice. Almost identical to the ones I make. I've never been a big fan of high definition in a kydex holster, especially on the slide. I couldn't care less about visual wear on the gun. Every gun I have is a "working" gun. They look like they've been in and out of a holster a million times cuz they have. I don't want my holster to be able to manipulate my slide at all coming out of or more likely while going back into it. Many holsters that are too tight on the slide can do this. Great vid and good on you for noticing and pointing out many of the positive things about this holster.

This is the best holster ever made for iwb carry. I have always been a leather holster guy. Then I started to sway towards the kydex. I've bought more holsters then you could ever imagine. I won't mention brands because everybody has their own preferences. But when I received this holster I was sold. I carry a S&W 40 shield at 3:00 and love the feel. You know its there but barely. I Completely recommend this holster.

Review update I've been using this holster for 2 weeks now 10 hrs a day on average and have shot roughly 500 rounds while using it. I first purchased an alien gear 3.0 and returned it within 2 days due to comfort and concealability. I love that you can wear this holster just about anywheres and it stays. I had mine in the 4 o'clock for the first week, then tried appendix (1 o'clock) since my friend sold me on it and I like it more than any other position now. I will suggest you buy the 1.75 clip for 3$ now vs buying it later and paying shipping. The standard 1.5 clip that is comes with did not fit my western belt or alien gear gun belt. Other than that great buy, very happy.

The holsters look great and I'm sure they are. But here's my thing,I go over to explore their FB page and I see that someone asked them "do you make one for the S&W SD9?" and their response was simply "No". Idk, maybe I'm being picky and over judgemental, but it seems like they could've offered up a little more than just "No". I'll stick with Vedder.

I have a Blade Tech holster that is quite similar; but it is very uncomfortable (not adjustable like Tulster. Being a fat old dude, IWB is pretty uncomfortable. My cheap Allen IWB holster ($8.00) is more comfortable that any other IWB I've tried. For me, OWB works best. Good video - keep up the great work!

Yeah I did an update recently but just looking at the guns the slide wear is very minimal. You will always get some with kydex but Tulster does a low drag design which minimizes the wear greatly

Hey nice review man! Why didnt you tighten the screw when you switched to the zero degree cant? Does the screw not tighten in that position? Or does the holster swivel when in zero degree cant?

I have a Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 I bought a holster off Amazon but looking for something outside the waistband and easy access to grab it in case of a situation!! Now would you recommend a holster for inside or outside the waistband?

I have two, Mission Concealment(unfortunately out of business) and Forest City Tactical.They ride very close to the body.

looks like a cool holster but they don't make them for my Taurus pt111 g2 9mm so looks like I'm going to try to get one from alien gear

Absolutely

Holster is fine. Clip is a concern. Most will come lose with the draw. Try experimenting with an Ulticlip. Hides better, holds with confidence.

Only takes one time. Happened to me with a Blade Tech "secure" clip. Nothing like a sudden event and pulling the entire "surprise package" out of one's pants at that infortuitous moment. Enjoy the holster.

Yes, there are only two styles for the Ulticlip. One screws on, now with two screws and the other slips into those leather styles. I see your point. Good Vid.

I'm having the flat face apex trigger kit installed, will do a video on it once I get it back.

How come they don’t cover the bottom of that trigger guard just a lil more while yet still leaving that mag release still open. Nice product not hating just saying just cover it a lil more.

Great, now I need to buy a Shield! For now, looking for a holster for the M&P 9c. I can get this one for the 9c, of course , but seeing as how you've reviewed that firearm, curious about your opinion. +Hegshot87 one last question, when you adjust the cant and retighten the screw, does it actually screw into something? Or is it a matter of tightening it into the Kydex itself? I didn't notice another other screw holes like there are at zero cant, but may just be the view. Thx

I'm curious about these holsters and wonder if you wear against the skin ? or do you wear with a t shirt or something between the holster and skin, I live in Florida and we of course have extreme summers, just wondering about these compared to the Alien gear or leather holsters for comfort

I live in SC so I feel your pain lol. What I like is these are so comfortable and don't cause you to sweat like the hybrid style holster. With all of the extra material on those style of holsters it is uncomfortable for me and makes me think about it. WIth the Tulster I don't think about it. SLide it on and forget about it. Now I will say that the hybrid style holsters are ok for winter for me but I refuse to carry them in the summer heat. Hope that helps

The magazine release being EXPOSED is a real problem...don't like it! You might want to look at the CYA Supply IWB holster. The CYA Supply product is top quality and does a better job of covering the magazine release.

Ok thanks Hegshot87. Currently I use both a horsehide leather type custom IWB 2-clip from WhiteHat and a Desantis SOF-TUCK for my Walther PPS M1/40S&W. I like the Tulsters and they have a good thing going, but I am not sure for me - it maybe be too stiff for comfort around my waistline. I tend to use the Desantis in warmer weather. For me I use leather types mainly for comfort for my waistline. If you have too much body fat around your waistline, comfort and ability to keep your pants from from falling down becomes a challenge, to be honest. I also invested in a great gun belt, 1-1/4" wide, from Bullhide Belts that I love.
