I live in Claremore and that tornado went half a mile away from my school
The driving after dark when there is a tornado close by is very dangerous. I hope these guys don't get hurt or worse!
It destroyed my friends house
Oswald, Elmo and Loretta McCann were born in Tulsa. Their dad Dustin "Justin" Jr. was born in Owasso and their grandpa Dustin Sr. and his twin sister Agatha McCann-Turnbull was born in Claremore.

+x9x9x9x9x9 actually in 1974 Tulsa was hit twice, one that went along 71st , it kept going up and down much like this one did, then another went across Midtown at later time www.batesline.com/archives/2014/06/08/Tulsa_Tornado_North-19740608.png www.batesline.com/archives/2014/06/08/Tulsa_Tornado_South-19740608.png

+x9x9x9x9x9 I remember being in Tulsa on March 31st, 2006 for a concert. A tornado dropped down by the airport and did quite a bit of damage. I was at the Brady theater when the sirens went off and we had to get down in the lobby. According to my mom there was a day in 1975 when 6 tornadoes touched down in Tulsa. Tulsa always has a large number of tornadoes, but most of them are small and never touch down. global warming has nothing to do with it. Just like Moore is a hot spot for tornadoes. It's just location and being the epicenter for storms

***** I guess I mean like midtown tulsa. Its weird how rare we get them in midtown. I think it has something to do with topography
I remember this so vividly.... We got into our shelter in Claremore, and luckily the tornado turned just enough to not hit us. About half a mile away from our house a couple of houses got hit. That was a bad night in Claremore.....

Oh mog
Lucky I did not arrive in Tulsa earlier that afternoon from Los Angeles, CA
what is the siren sound around 2:22, 2:23? Is that a local warning or the tornado itself? if they happen so much out there why aren't the houses built sturdier. It looks scary.
