Right! I was wondering why this went viral and made into such a big deal like it was. Dont get me wrong I am sure in her eyes this was major because of the type of day she was having. People in general just get such a bad rap like there is not kind, generous people still left in the world. More people help in situations than not I feel. I wonder if they were the same race would this have gotten the same type of recognition. Which is just pathetic if so. I applaud him though.

Coming in way late to this video but as a fellow twin mom, I had to comment. This means more than anyone could know! Being a momma in general is so stressful, but being a twin mom bring an entire other level of maneuvering and stress! I’ve also had strangers help me a few times, with simple things like help me put me put my double stroller in trunk, and I even had a lady pull my car up in the rain at target. Really brings life to the phrase “it takes a village”

@Bajan John Doe Well said. My grandmother taught me that love is the only thing of value that we can take with us when we leave this world. Yet by its very nature, love lingers where a loving person has lived and in the lives they touched. You can feel it long after their physical form has crumbled and if you hold on to that love and add your own to it, then you'll see that love cannot be constrained by death and that the love inside each of us is indestructible, immutable and eternal.

Well said. My dad was black and in the late 80s an old white woman tried to secretly take me out of my dad’s car cuz she was convinced he kidnapped me. I screamed at the top of my lungs, “THAT’S MY PAPA!!! PAPA PAPA!!!” and he came running out the store and almost murdered that woman for putting her hands on me. We’ve come a long way, but not long enough for everyone to see a black man with a white looking child as “normal.” I actually didn’t understand the incident that happened to me as a child until I was older when my innocence goggles were ripped off. Wouldn’t it be nice if we never lost that pure, unfiltered love and acceptance we have as children?

But a single act of kindness sometimes not only redeems a bad day, but can save a life. Why does our society worship celebrities for merely being outrageous or notorious when there are real heroes and people worth emulating like this man out there in the real world?

CeCe Kansas ,CeCe ,you are undoubtedly a beautiful person inside and out .To say this is beautiful.No.matter how simple it was ,it was definitely a act of kindness.I was in a store one day checking out, there was a child who didn't have enough money to.pay for what he had .This child had more sense to recognize my small.act of kindness than you idiot adults to see what John did .The little one turned to me gave me the biggest hug ,a beautiful smile ,and said ,thank you ! Instead of you downing John be one .Gloria Karam

The baby is white and he's not, that's it. The same thing happened when I took my infant nephew for a quick across the street trip to a Winn Dixie. The visit was about 10 minutes and the mostly white crowd stared the entire time. This happened to this guy recently. My experience was in the 1990s. We've got a long way to go.

You'll probably never read this John, , but I've got to put it out there in the universe and say thank you for your kindness. I just had a wonderful experience with Enterprise as well in Bridgeton, Missouri, so this is a compassionate company. He is such an inspiration and a true gentleman as well as a caring human being!! Thank you John!! #beajohn💚
