Now that I've actually started the game and gotten through a decent chunk of MSQ, I understand this lol

The funny thing about the liquefied Carbuncle joke is that the game almost makes that canon as Alphi says he had to channel Carbuncle's aether into the nouliths (the lasers) to power them.

SCH is my favorite since your typically saying "no thanks" to the damage during the wind up animation. Most of which you can't DPS during anyways since they flew away to get he damage bomb.

I main white mage and well i just cant let party HP be so low, i keep everybody HP above 50% on average. I mean what if a dps doesnt dodge an aoe and gets killed? Fuller HP bars will have them still live from a mistake than die and get atk power debuff of shame from me rezzing them. As SCH am opposite, HP bars get low... get low, get low, how low can ya go? Their Shield heals protect against accidentally no dodging players.

@@madiganva haha thats definitely how most healers (me included) start out. I still remember my first tank death as a healer, literally first time being a healer LV15 dungeon and I didnt know "line of sight" for your target was a thing, the second the tank moved around a corner a tiny bit my heals couldnt target them and i didnt know why so they died first mob .___."

@@HyouVizer To be fair, the pace of pulling in dungeons is so quick in FF 14. I was used to slower pulls and CC'ing mobs when I played WoW. It was a culture shock to switch over

I just started healing on a whim the other week an chose White Mage and it seems like every duty party I've joined the tank is a Dark Knight. Every. Single . One .... Has been an absolute nightmares to keep healed - they seem to lose health almost faster than it can be healed in pre HW content and available skills. The dps's on the other hands for the most part have been great and only ever need top offs. But My experiences with duty finder leveling the class basically had me say "screw this" and I started doing solo duty support runs instead with npcs.

Bombs can't be friendly? Excuse me, that friendly bomb HEALS you and your allies while harming your foes! Its the perfect Friendly Bomb!

to the thing about Omnicrafters having a god complex... yeah kinda? i mean.. if my gear does break in the middle of a pull in a dungeon? F IT! i can just repair everything when we're out of combat! and about the "you only need 1 HP" thing.. healers will often see how low they can drop u... that also means, sometimes ur friend goes full squeaky toy because of 3 digit health in a high lvl dungeon
