Bodacious was the only bull that had an idea of what he was doing. He never mauled a rider. Never intentionally stepped on a rider. Never attacked a bull fighter ( clown) . Never came back to "finish" a rider. He knew he was there to buck, twist, buck back and when he perfected that he stuck with it. He never had malice or anger or revenge. He was just an athlete there to do a job and he did it well.

@jessebailey5962 what a stupid comment . Nobody said he knew about brain injuries. Animals know how to injure and kill humans and chose to do so all the time. He knew he knew how to make his head meat human head and cause injury . He did it over and over, which means it wasn't an accident. What a dumb ass

@jessebailey5962 he knew enough to hurt riders. That's why there were only 6-8 completed rides on that bull. The PBR retired him, not the other way around. A little research goes a long way.

JB decided to adopt the bull that broke his neck & retired him from bull riding lol He walked up to the paramedics, told em he had a broken neck, & while they were frantically putting him in a neck brace & trying to put an IV in his arm, he was puffing on a Marlboro. I remember sneaking back behind the chutes at some PBR event in northern California in the mid-90's and meeting Tuff (also, Ty Murray and Jim Sharp) and getting their autographs on three separate life-size cardboard cutouts. I was probably thirteen at the time. I remember my hand disappearing inside of Tuff's as he shook it. He was a giant of a man! That same rodeo, a bull jumped the fencing and into the audience! Another bull rider grabbed me by the back of the shirt and lifted me, like a ragdoll, up and outta that way as the bull came charging by us and out into the parking lot! Everyone behind the chutes, riders and whomever, were all very professional and kindly accepting of anyone that happened to weasel their way back there.

"I think I broke my jaw cuz when I bite down, my teeth don't touch." Tuff really got emotional. Can you imagine Lane riding BODACIOUS? " I know what Tuff means by the reaction of his 4 year old son. Tuff came home after BODACIOUS broke his face and let me tell ya, the swelling itself hurts so dang bad if someone makes you laugh, you cryin. I had a messed up jaw anyway but it was ok. My Dr. heard of me breaking horses to ride bareback in my 20's+30's. I had a 4yr old green broke 1/2 Arabian Gelding I rode ALL THE TIME and so I had my 4 year old son Sam tucked in front of me so I thought he was tamed enough for me to ride bareback by myself. That horse cowhopped me 4ft in the air, knocked me out+ I woke up in the hospital 3 days later head swollen bigger than a watermelon. I broke bottom jaw,Drs sawed it, bolted it. Drs. broke my top jaw, widened it& I have screws holding my face on for almost 30 years. My son 1st looks at me walking in the door head swelled up. My sister said " Sam, look into her eyes. It's Ma." " Yeah, Ma, you'd Betta way down. "🤣😘🤠❤️ (Huh, ALL the numbers are 4.Weird. Maybe I better slow down on the Aleve. 🤣) But I did break that Joker. He turned out to be one my favorite, funniest horses I ever rode. I ended up buying him. You form a bond after something only horse and rider share. RIP💔 Miss you Royal🤠 crazy sob 🤣😘😉

Nurse and techs you guys rock👍👍👍👍All the Machismo only goes so far. I accidentally put my hand through a glass window.cut 4 tendons in hand,3 in my arm. I walked in the hospital. Nurse wanted to put me in a wheelchair. I walked to treatment then my Vision started narrowing. I stopped moving then slowly fell on my ass thank god. I was covered in blood. Nurse got me up into a chair. I’m 6’1” 300 pounds. Her and my wife who does X-ray and Cat Scan. picked up that dead weight and got me to my room. You think Docs run hospitals. They don’t staff around docs do.

Look to me as an outsider like he’s bucking you up with his ass end, and while his rear hooves are still in the air throw his front end up into your face. Other bulls do the same movement but they’re a step slower and wait for the back end to land before they Buck again. There’s nowhere for you to go because gravity isn’t your friend.

So at about 1:00 Tuff said that Bo got ridden a couple times when he was young mainly because was clumsy even though he was still big and a monster. Had he not developed his head smashing move yet? I know there are bulls that have better records than him. I think his record was like 135-8 or something, but how many times did he get ridden once he “grew up” and developed that move?
