Could you please include open captions? They are essential for people with low vision who might struggle to follow ASL. Open captions benefit them and also make the content accessible for hearing viewers. I appreciate your consideration. Thank you!

I’m sure adding captions is a lot of extra work. I do hope they return. As an ASL student, I watch Daily Moth every day to help improve my comprehension and to expand my vocabulary, and the captions help with that. Thanks for the excellent work you and your team do!

Why? English belongs to hearing people as their spoken language but ASL is our primary language. We need more ASL in America.

I love checking in to this channel everyday. I love you guys so much. I was hoping to find a Daily Moth t-shirt in the merch store but it doesn't look like they are available at the moment. Looking forward to when they are. Also, I am just getting into my ASL/English interpreter program at NTID in Rochester this Fall and I do use the closed captions to aid me through the sign I don't know yet. I am sure there are reasons the CC hasn't been available. I want you to know I really have appreciated the accessibility it gives. Again, thanks for everything you guys do! Stay with the light!

I noticed that too. I'm Deaf, but I occasionally like to see in print the name of a country or a person's name. Hopefully they'll bring it back.

Canadians have stopped use personal checks earlier possible in 2000. I wasn’t sure if I remember exactly year. Wow US is the last to stop use personal checks. Technology changes lot.

Hey Daily Moth, I've been enjoying getting my news from you for a while, and I hope to continue doing so. I am hard of hearing, as is much of my family, though none of us grew up knowing ASL. I've been using my daily news to get exposure to the language, you understand. So I find it baffling that you have spontaneously stopped uploading your videos with captions. Deaf people are not the only ones who use closed captions, and the video being silent does not eliminate the need for them. Please resume captioning your content.

Thank you for delivering news in ASL today! The quality of the daily briefs has declined a bit as Alex has stopped saying, "Today is (the current date). Are you ready for the top news?" as well as not saying in the end, "Stay with the light." Anyway, here are my thoughts on some of the news that were shared. As for Target to stop accepting personal checks, it is time for Target and any other business to stop accepting personal checks as it is best to use today's current and more secure forms of electronic payment. As for 7 deaths blamed on the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, it is a tragedy for the adults who died because they did not save their souls. As for Alec's trial having begun, even if he is found not guilty of involuntary manslaughter, he is still guilty of the sin of murder. As for the viral photo of young Messi with baby Yamal, I could care less as sports do not matter in the grand scheme of things.

Speaking of personal checks, I used to use the personal checks to buy something at any stores and pay on the household bills before mailed to companies such as electrical power or telephone. I had been problem with the personal checks after bouncing with insufficient fees. Now no more use the personal checks, only use e-cards (I use debit card) and cash. I usually don’t carry the cash in my wallet very much. I bet the personal checks will fade away in the future. Most people will use credit/debit cards and cash a lot. Good luck if yaw’ll go to Target and use personal checks, they will decline and will not let yaw’ll taking the merchandises without paying.

I want the captions too. I occasionally see a new sign. Alex is good about spelling out signs he thinks people might not know, but I like the captioning. Sometimes I cover the captioning with my hand if it's distracting me, and then I uncover it if I want to see a word.
