Easily forgiving you for this 360P, because you always put out great quality videos every time. The NTH is a fantastic looking piece. Especially the custom back and the lime… Spectacular. I never really “rated” this type of watch, but now I might just consider it. Thanks for posting this wrist watch check.

Another smashing good video. :) Regarding the authenticity of the Ranger, I decided to have a look in my trusty "Tudor Anthology" by Alberto Isnardi. On p. 266, it reads "This is one of the most counterfeited models. Various counterfeited dials can be found around. As illustrated in the official catalogues, the logo on the dial is only the Shield and never the Rose. According to the most accepted thesis, the writing "Ranger" is in white color, despite appearing often in red." Looks like returning it was a good call.

Almost got away with faking the red RANGER but despite using the proper font and spacing, the paint was piled up too high. And a red date disc? Total frankenwatch IMO.

That Catalina Watch is stunning! :) That intro was pretty great too. My father is going on one of the legs of the sail boat race around the world and he is wondering what watch he should buy for that occasion, but that is also wearable in other settings as well. What would you recommend? Thanks!

The Red Ranger is an interesting one. I had that same feeling when I saw that the magnifier was off a bit. Better to be safe than sorry. I like the Catalina it checks all the right boxes.

The Urban Gentry i love both. The new Omega is a beauty with the waves on the dial. But it costs 1000€ (its around 4400€ and the BB58 costs 3300€) more than the Tudor BB. i think i am going to buy the 39mm for myself as a christmas present 🤔 i think the 39mm version fits better with a casual or a suit than the 41mm version

The Tudor is an interesting watch but from my laptop's screen the red printing did not look in keeping with the rest of the dial. The red looks too new and I would have expected some fading of the red given the amount of patina on the hands and the dial having received enough exposure to the sun and elements (possible humidity/moisture) to turn blue. I think you did well sending it back.

I was looking for that comment. I have never hold a genuine Rolex in my hands, but I restore and repair vintage watches and electric instruments as my hobby and that red paint looks new to me, it even looks like if it was painted over a layer of white paint.

Great work T., love Tudor. You explain in great detail the red in the Ranger, but what about the Rolex Sub? You briefly mention it but I was wondering if you could expand a bit further on how the red sub signature came about with Rolex Subs, is this rare, what’s the story? Best, Diego

Ah finally 1080p! Hey TGV, have you ever thought about giving the Traser watches a closer look? Especially because the tritium vials are essentially the grandsons of the here used tritium paint. The watches are made by the same company who makes thoses tritium vials.

Or can I use a 20mm that just sent quite the right fit? Any thoughts on this, and where I can find a quality 21mm strap if that’s necessary? Thank you! I adore this channel.

Great video. I think that Tudor to be returned is the right decision. It will never sit right with you with the ever looming air of doubt and uncertainty about its true origins and authenticity. Can never truly enjoy it with that pulsating in the back of your mind. You deserve better.. We all should given a similar situation. And, I think your experience and thinking goes beyond a questionable 100% authentic watch, but if you have any doubts about your recent watch purchase and it's just not feeling it's hitting the spot just right or otherwise lacking full satisfaction, save yourself the itch that can never be scratched and return it before you have to go through the hassle of flipping it with the negatives you already know you wouldn't want others to experience.. But, may need to obscure your knowledge and opinions about when trying to sell such a timepiece. And, I have to admit your Catalina is quite a cool NTH/WatchgGauge collaboration.
