Agree with the BB54 opinion. I thought that they will introduce it and I can order it… but no. They did a smaller gmt and thats all.

Monochrome BB41 is clean. If only they'd do a 54 or even 58 version. No gold accents, faux patina or rivets (on the 5 link bracelet). This would be an essential purchase for me.

I think the Pelagos 39 is really the closest...monochrome is for everyone who wanted a Sub but either cant or cannot justify it now that Tudor frankly owns Rolex in the tool watch category. Rolex has projected the future with its current releases in 2024 and its not the sub 10,000 price point any longer. Rolex is now just a flex watch and has completely abandoned its customer base to create a new one...and its not us!

As a Yank, it took me a second to realize after you said the watch was 27,000 pounds. Lol. Awesome watches. I love the new Black Bay. Wish they came with crown guards though. It would have completed the look. Can't wait for your next video tomorrow.

I always wanted a BB58 with date function, and now it even come with GMT as a bonus, perfection.

Not sold on any of them tbh. The GMT is so close, but naturally had to shoot themselves in the foot by adding gold to it 🤦🏼‍♂️

Its almost exactly the same as the S&G GMT, but with a stainless bracelet. Why the gold accents when there’s no gold on the watch. Doesn’t look good in this configuration.

Tudor already made a solid gold green dial BB. There's one for sale second-hand near me, on a green NATO strap.

I’m really happy that they released the gmt in 12mm case thickness as that’s all I wanted them to change before I bought one. Problem is is that they changed the colour that I wanted. I like the new colour but I wanted the white dial blue and red bezel in the 12mm. Hopefully Tudor will make the white dial blue and red bezel in the 12mm case an option soon? Hopefully they do because I really want to buy it.

Yes, a date complication is a must for me too. They seem to put a date on the GMTs and steel/gold Black Bays, but not on the steel three handers.

I think the solid gold Black Bay is a declaration by Tudor . It is telling the world that the Black Bay is now up there will all the big names in the diver's watch world . I think they are officially up there with the best and competing with them .

Considering they added them also to the 54, I guess they are not planning to drop them. There are cases where companies prefer to insist instead of admitting a mistake. Just like an iPad and its calculator.

Tudor refusing to put the BB58 on t-fit year after year is an absolute joke. That GMT would be nearly perfect if it came on the five link bracelet though!

I like the monochrome BB, but I’ve never understood why the knurling on the edge of the bezel is so fine compared with a Rolex sub or an old 79090. Is there some functional purpose? I think the standard knurling would look even better.

I agree with you about the BB Monochrome, it is the most important and the best release from Tudor this year. They have done everything right on this watch, and my prediction is that this will be the "one does it all" watch from the Tudor line. For me the "smart man's Sub" it ticks most of the boxes that Sub does for much less money and no "Rolex retail vetting" hassle. BB 58 GMT also ticks a lot of the boxes, but not as perfect as the Monochrome is. It feels like they were running a marathon towards the victory and stumbled 50 meters from the finnish line. Why, oh why didn't they use the color code from the Tudor Pepsi GMT when they were drawing this? White numerals on the bezel and the "monochrome" dial with the red GMT hand would make this Coke GMT the perfect watch. But anyway now I don't have to worry about acquiring this one.
