I have this watch with a brown leather strap and the steel bracelet. I love in and wear it every day. Always get compliments on it too. You really cant go wrong with this watch
Agreed! The BB58 is probably THE perfect watch and all one needs. I own the blue version and can’t say enough good things about it

💯 agreed. Owned this watch for about 3 years and never tire of it. Near perfection.
The way light reflects on this watch is just incredible, especially at night in yellowish light. It is a diver, but it looks like a dresswatch in some occasions. The size makes it the perfect allrounder for me!
I agree - this is one piece that could fulfill this role for most. It's speced out, but it wears so comfortably.
I agree totally with your review of this watch. I have the blue version and love it, but I can definitely see the appeal of this one.
This is quite possibly my favorite watch ever, and I will have one someday. On the wrist today is the Zelos Swordfish 40 in titanium with the salmon dial!
100% agreed. Had mine for a year now and I wear it everyday and still in love with it. My exit watch..❤ it!
BB58 is Tudors most successful model in my opinion the only thing I will improve on T- fit clasp!
Great video as usual, I had the chance of a bb58 back in December 18 but like you decided the 41 was the one for my wrist..... haven't regretted it love my bb41, on my wrist today is the Pelagius LHD.....love it too 👍

The LHD is a gorgeous piece, one of my favorites in the line up.
First impressions it is a beautiful watch in an understated/subtle way. The gold markers with the black dial really pop. The blue version also looks amazing up close. The new Tudor Pepsi is selling just as quick this year.
I've owned 4 different Tudors in the past several years, and I'm down to my Black Bay 58. Clearly the best of the bunch. 👍
My BB58 has easily become one of the favorites in my collection. My man Harrison always gets me hyped, his energy is contagious!

Totally agree. Try it with the leather watchbrand and it seems to be another watch...
I have that very watch. Absolutely chuffed with it. Keep with the bracelet young man, I think the original combination is unbeatable. The black and gilt dial is sublime. PS - wearing my Hamilton Karki field (white face) whilst watching. Good vid as usual.
Wearing the exact same model purchased a year ago, which shares wrist time with a number of watches including it's Blue-dialled sibling, which has a different character, and Rolex Sub Date 16610 owned for 20 years.
Agree best one watch collection especially for the money. I have the blue and it’s amazing 😊
Think I still prefer it to the pelagos 39 the only the id change on this is that I’d like sharper and more prominent knurling on the bezel like the vintage ones in this style. I really feel like that would complete the tool Watch feel of it
I just bought one. I love the golden hands and touches on the dial.
Bought it when it came out and it probably has the most wrist time from a great collection.
Tried this on my wrist recently. Absolutely torn between the sea master 300 green and this one. 😢. I wish they had a transparent case back though..
love the silver version even more :)
The 58 is the best looking option, difficult to denied, and the size just perfect for my wrist. Thanks for your review
Just got my BB58 after 4 years of considering it (and waiting for the market to stop up-charging it) and I'm very happy with this piece. In a couple years give or take, when the prices for the Pelagos 39 mellow out I'd like to aquire that as well, however I wouldn't flip the 58' to get the Pelagos, I'd miss the vintage detals too much. Especially the domed crystal and the bracelet. I thought that I might be changing out the bracelet once I got the 58' due to all of the negative reviews regarding the faux riveting but once I had it in the metal & and on my wrist, I think it was a perfect detail for Tudor to add to get a bit more vintage vibe going for the piece and I wouldn't want it any other way. I'd recommend the Uncle Seiko half-link to best dial in the size you're looking to get being that there is no sliding T-clasp adjustment for the BB58 bracelet. The lack of glide-lock or t- clasp is really the ONLY complaint I can make. If you like vintage or vintage style, modern made watches, the BB58 is one of the best available, and with the newly released Pelagos 39 hitting the market, NOW is a great time to purchase your BB58 if that fits your watch style. Have a great day !!!🙂

@@cyber5677 Got it from Chrono24. Seller had it from new for just 7 months and was liquidating his collection to get his dream watch (Submariner). It is in like new condition, full set, and I paid $3,255. I bought it exactly one week before the Pelagos 39 dropped so I probably could have done better if I'd waited just a little bit longer but hey, who knew right? Not sure how the new at the Tudor AD prices are doing right now, kinda depends on where you live but I'm pretty sure none of them are charging over retail and they seem to have the majority of the 58 line in stock these days so if you're going for a new piece, you might even be able to get yours for a bit under retail. New or used, you'd be buying at the best time (while the Pelagos 39 is still hot) So good luck with the pricing and enjoy, it's a great watch!

I've got the bb s and g 41mm. on the bracelet. I have 7 and a half inch wrist, so the 58 is too small for me. I prefer the chunkier look and heft also. They moaned about the slab sided look of the 41mm , but to me it adds to the wrist presence. The two tone is just lovely because the gold is brushed, it just tones it down and stops it being flashy. it just gives it a warmth that elevates the overall look. love the two tone chronograph too, it's a lovely piece. the 58 is a great watch for the smaller wrists , and both the black and blue have their own merits too.

I don’t agree at all. The 58 is the sweet spot for a variety of wrist sizes. I had a BB41, and my wrist size is over seven inches, however, I sold it in favour of the 58, as it’s far more comfortable and less thick than either of the watches you’ve mentioned.

@@mema4922 the 58 is too small for my 7.5 wrist . Thats my opinion. I prefer the wrist presence of a 41mm watch. I agree it should be a tad thinner, but I still prefer the 41mm size. The only Tudor you only need. Probably but after owning a Black Bay Bronze and Pelagos LHD, both which l have (regrettably) sold, l now own a Pelagos FXD. However, l also need a BB58, Bronze 58 and Pelagos 39 in my life too 😅 I’m not greedy 😂
I got my BB58 today, It’s a perfect watch.
completely agree, in time it will age very well..
Wait for the T-FIt upgrades
I actually really dislike divers. But the 58 was my grail for 3 years and I've had it for two months now and it's everything I knew it would be. Perfect warmth. Perfect size and proportions. Underrated, classic, timeless. A bit sporty, a bit dressy. Perfect vintage looking skin diver. The one and only diver to complement the styles in my small-ish collection of dailys.
One could go this route but I’m more of a 3 watch collection kind of person. This one could certainly fill the diver slot though.
I agree, wears better then any of my rolexes
I have w Tudor watches. The BB Chrono reverse panda and the BB58 Bronze. If I could only have one it would be the BB58 bronze, but barely.
it's a beauty, I just can't cope with it not having the T-Fit clasp when all the other big boy Tudor's have it by now...

I have the same bb58 as yourself. But luckily I can still wear my others depending on the occasion. I’ve a Globemaster for formal, and a Hamilton Karki field for general knocking about in. The bb58 for everything else. I’m sure you will come round to giving your others wrist time eventually. You must do, it’s a great hobby.
I agree in everything, is a amazing watch.
Just out of curiosity, what is your wrist size then if your saying it’s too small for you?
Is it still a good buy in 2024, given that it will soon get the T-Fit Clasp and be Metas certified? I am in love with this watch but part me of says wait for the updated version.
I think it’s a gorgeous watch. However, I wish it was a 42, and it had a adjustable clasp system. I feel on my 7 1/4 inch wrist the watch looks a little small for my taste. I agree the fitting finishes terrific.

@@loslosthuy 39 looks like a child’s watch on our size wrist. Typically watches that are 41 and up look a lot better in my opinion. I have a slightly bigger than average wrist... 7.25 inches. I went for the BB58 as it's a vintage inspired piece. Wears like the 5 digit Sub. Having said that, I do wear thicker watches so it does fit into my rotation well.

Go for the 39mm. The 41 is way too thick and slab sided. I tried both on and couldn't go for the 41. Plus the blue BB58 I have is a better color scheme than the gilt/black color. FWIW, I have 6.75 inch wrists.

I've got an 8 and a quarter inch wrist (closer to 8 when it's cold out, you know, "shrinkage") and I do wear up to a 42mm watch sometimes, but the BB58 looks perfectly sized to me. If more "wrist presence" is what you're after, go bigger. I personally wouldn't go any smaller than 39 mm, but the 58 doesn't look like a tiny piece on a 8 inch wrist at all.

@@Constantlywatching Your right, the 58 does wear like a 5 digit sub, if not, just a tiny bit lower due to the bezel profile. However the domed crystal brings the actual height up to nearly the same as a 5 digit. Very similar feeling on the wrist.

Hey, what is the lug-to-lug on this watch?
Maybe the BB58 ist the most versatile Tudor. Maybe it´s the most timeless Tudor. But would I buy one, if I could? Maybe not. If I would buy another Tudor, I´d buy a Tudor Pelagos 39. I could see this watch at my AD and I really want to own one and I´m ready to wait. Wristcheck: Tudor Ranger
Wearing my black bay 58 as I watch this.
Gotta admit its the perfect size and weight for me plus looks amazing cant fault it. Just wish it had a date window as I get into watches I realise I need a date window in all my everyday watches 🤣
One watch is not a collection by definition Webster: A collection is a group of things, often a group created by someone. For example, many kids have a collection of comic books. I’m can understand a one watch enthusiast. Not a one watch collection. Now to your point, if I were to own one watch, the BB58 could serve as that watch. My preference would be a Pepsi or Sprite GMT II, or a Lange Odysseus white gold. From my choices it’s obvious that I need a date.

It really is wonderful.... I'm a bit bored of it now, but honestly, for 95% of people wanting a do it all watch, this will be an incredible watch to wear with pride
My grailwatch. Still saving Some money…
I do like the splash of red on the bezel. I might like the tip of the second hand to also be red...?? I keep thinking I want an Omega, but the Tudor price is appealing. I'm wearing my CWC G10 quartz fun watch on a nato left wrist, and Apple Watch7 on right as a health and fitness device that also always has the correct time in a multitude of dials. (my other watch is a Rolex 😁).
Sorry, I need a date function when I'm at work. Perfect for the weekend, yes, but God forbid, just one watch? No.
