Many of these professionals who are LGBTQ+ allies would do anything to not get canceled with any excuses. « I’m not a Biologist » is the dumbest excuse to say. Outstanding? Not really. It was a stupid analogy. Being able to identify a dog is not comparable. Any fool can identify a dog from other animals. The actual equivalent comparison would comprise of being able to tell the difference between a male and a female dog (or cat) - which is not quite so easy without inspecting genitals. Why is "glass" a word and "gsasl" isn't? Because there is nothing that gsasl points to. Glass can mean either the material or a vessel made of that material used for drinking. That's why when I use the word, you know what I mean. Now, if "woman" (same goes for "man") isn't a biological category, there is nothing to define it. All social categories are arbitrary, like long hair, wearing dresses/skirts, wearing certain types of cosmetics, etc. These vary depending on place and time, so there is nothing concrete about it, and man or woman is as much of a word as glasl is.

An absurdity is where some premise negates it's conclusion. (Rain is wet and it is raining a dry rain). An antimony is where a thing seems to exist and not exist at the same time, so a form of absurdity. (It was raining and did not rain.) Better to know the difference so that when you watch Fox News you can keep from believing the absurdities and spot the conflicting statements made by the same people. You won't tend toward atrocities so much going forward. Voltaire was a philosopher. Few can understand what a philosophy is, much less how a philosopher arrives at these principles. What Voltaire was saying is that a person who believes what is not real is possibly not bound by realities (such as atrocious behavior). So saying Trump won an election which he lost is absurd. To say that all American Presidents live in the White House. And Trump does not live in the White House. Therefore Trump is President. Is an absurdity. To say that an election was stolen by fraudulent ballots being counted, or valid ballots being not counted, and all ballots were counted with the same conclusion. therefore Trump won the election, is an antimony where Trump is President , and not President at the same time. If you believe this, are you therefore prone to committing atrocities?

Dear Brigitte It does no good to state facts to these people. Like the bible says "They will call good, evil and evil, good. Their is no middle ground to be reached with these wackos. The divide, I believe is now so wide that even a huge Republican win this fall and Trump elected in 2024 will at best be a bandaid on bullet wound. It makes me grateful that I live in Iowa. While everyone here has a voice, we don't generally put up with leftist nonsense. Our state is led by a woman. She is very simply outstanding. I'm married to another outstanding woman. For 34 years she has been allowing me to "think" that I wear the pants. Now that's love! Mabey we ought to send this judge 2 or 3 relevant biology texts. Possibly a copy of the U.S. constitution and the bible as she obviously has nothing but a passing acquaintance of where we derive the foundations of generally accepted ideas in western civilization. I believe she has nothing but contempt for our country and the very institutions from which she received her education and have been her employer most of her life. Most people did not believe the propaganda there, I've heard, but everyone was too afraid to contest the propaganda because they thought they were alone. The question was to "provide a definition". She was not asked "how would you describe (you understand) what this word means". So I suppose not every biologist can provide the definition word by word from a book. And her answer probably was about this.

@@Rn-pp9et Meant to say, my sister was pregnant with my niece a few years ago and the doctors said she was likely down syndrome and offered her an abortion to which she declined and turned out she was perfectly fine, she's a beautiful young strong independent woman now, it makes me shudder to think if my sister took their advice, most likely a uncommon testing mistake but it was a big one, also...what do you mean until my girls a teen? She's nearly two and already a nightmare lol, in a good way, she's got my temper alright, I had just left the BAF when she was born, was going to go back but I have fear now if that makes sense, the fear of getting tagged and never seeing her wee smiling face has put the fear of God in me, you know what I mean you have kids, they change you don't they, all the best to you 🤝
