Right this thing is blown out of proportion. DW has already elevated her career. She can move on and do her own thing now. But I understand why many felt it was a big deal it is because Candance portrayed her firing as a sign of persecution of the "American first" agenda and Christianity. Which is not true. Israel or Jews are not the ones that are a threat to America or Christianity it is the Islamic terrorists. I never thought Candace was Daily Wire’s best star. I felt she was getting more and more arrogant, and often her opinions had little intellectual weight. After she put her career on the line over Birgitte Macron being a man I thought she was just an embarrassment for Daily Wire. I don’t follow her at all now.

I never followed Ben just listened occasionally. Liked Candace at first but stopped listening long ago bc I couldn't stomach her arrogance & pure conceit. Same here. Followed her before but the event opened my eyes. She's a combative drama queen, and you're right, arrogant and "me me" mentality. Hiding behind bible and changing her religion trying to prove the point were just too deceiving and shows what is her real priority. Christopher Rufo said it best, I was attracted to her cheap drama style which was entertaining but not intellectual. James Lindsay was right about her too. It was a good event to really separate the wheat from the chaff!

DW never took a stance of supporting Israel above the USA- they’re in favor of the US financially supporting Israel, that’s it. But apparently to these morons, supporting your ally means valuing them above your own country, especially if it’s the country of Jews which the right especially the far right still has problems with. Yes Shapiro messed up by criticizing Owens in that public event, but he had every right to fire her once she bizarrely started making religious taunts with the whole Christ is King thing (I’ve yet to talk to anyone who can show me tweets of Owens signed off with CiK *before* this controversy began). He is. Did you look at the evidence? The number of French people who commented on her show about it was astonishing. They all said that in France, everyone thinks so. It’s been the rumor there for years. Candace’s evidence was from French investigative reporters who have looked into Macron’s wife’s background extensively.

PBD was weak on explaining the Daily Wire stuff but SPOT ON with the Trump Desantis issue. Desantis is a Beta male through and through.

Daily Wire will be fine because they actually try to provide solutions to current issues. Candace Owens is a contrarian first and foremost who thrives by drama. That’s why she works best on college campuses. She is at their emotional maturity level and just fights them at their level. Who the hell “throws down the glove” and challenges someone to a “duel” and then when the challenged(Ben Shapiro) picks it up and accepts the fight starts making demands that result in cop-outs? Candace Owens that’s who. That’s not leadership.
