She has been playing this one for a couple of years. It is a Bach Stradivarius "Shepherds Crook."

@JamesSterling In 1959, when I was 12, there was a TV show called Pete Kelly's Blues. I don't remember much about it other than I liked the funky prohibition-era vibe. The intro depicted him sadly pawning a cornet with a crook like that. I discovered just now that it ran only one season, and the last episode was titled "Sixteen Bar Tacit."
