What's crazy is the NFL commentator said at the beginning he doesn't know if he should be playing and that they really need to review these policies that let players play the week after they had a concussion like hit

Crazy thing is it wasn’t last week, it was Sunday, so 4 days after he got that concussion they let him play again. Judging by how stiff he was after this hit I’m scared it’ll have a long term affect on his health. Someone needs to get fired and sued

I'm so pissed off . This kid probably just lost his career and could have lost his life. The kid was clearly knocked out in the last game and you let him finish the game. Now in the next game he's showing signs of brain damage after hitting his head again. People don't get knocked out that damn cold from a tackle like that. there is a nascar driver who has been out almost 2 month after receiving a concussion due to him not being cleared by doctors to return. i promise after this there will be a mandatory time frame that players must be on the injure list and not allowed to play. the dolphins forced him to play to keep their win streak going.

What needs to happen is a investigation into the dolphins medical staff and if Tua recovers he needs to sue the team and nfl immediately if this proves to be career ending like he got concussion sunday and it's been 4 days and he didn't go through concussion protocol like this could have been prevented by simply not playing him

And I was saying based off of the positions he was in it is called posturing there’s two different types one in which your arms are Street and feet are facing outward and a Nother which is less severe where your arms are flexed and sometimes your feet are faced and work which is what he seem to be showing. For all I know posturing could fall into the realm of a seizure I was just commenting the technical medical term to what was going on. I’ve also seen reports that they are calling it “fencing“ either way fencing or posturing those are caused from severe brain trauma.

He was not healed from the first concussion a week before. This can leave PERMANENT cognitive deficits. I got one mTBI and years later, I still have symptoms. It is a very rough road. I also had an organ removed in the meantime. That was nothing compared to the struggle of a bad brain injury. You become a dependent with little to know hope of a normal life again. It is frightening. I could not imagine playing football after a concussion. After the first one, balance is off, vision is off, everything is off. Everyone knows, getting another brain injury before the 1st if FULLY healed is disastrous. They violated their own protocols. He should sue them. He will NEVER be the same after this.

Decorticate posturing is a sign of serious brain injury. He had an obvious concussion last week. Should never have played. This was most likely second impact injury to the brain. You can die from this. Decorticate posturing is like 37% non survivability which is his arms flexed. Arms extended is decerebrate posturing which is less severe sign and has about 17% non survivability. Either way both are signs and not diagnosis. But it points to serious brain injury
