Awesome! Some (optional) tips for this dish: (1) soak the rice cakes in water for about 15-20 minutes before cooking to get a more smoother rice cake texture - useful for people who struggle with digestion issues; (2) use myeolchi (dried anchovies) and seaweed broth instead of beef for a more traditional taste - or if youre pescatarian (simply boil the ingredients together, the longer the tastier); (3) add ramyeon for an added treat; (4) stir fry with rice at the end for "Korean dessert"

Please make it, it would be nice to see you make some arabic food! Google a recipe for it to tell you the complicated parts like the cooking process, but it’s absolutely delicious when made right. P.S. ‎وراق عنب is read starting from ‎وراق.

I had this for the first time at a korean BBQ place in the UK last week and it was insane. I definitely want it again!

I’m korean and I’m super impressed! If anything I would recommend some Sesame oil. Garlic and sesame oil are the literal life blood of all Koreans.

Looking good Chef! Are we going to see you travel to Korea? You should do a Collab with Korean English Man.

Idk why but instant tobokki sucks while the handmade ones are so soft and chewy i love it.

I got so happy when I saw you rinse the bowl and add that water to the dish! So often i see youtubers add sauces or pastes without showing whether they rinse or scrape the remains to add to the dish, and I just think that if they don't that's terribly wasteful

Tteokbokki never disappoints. I cook mine with dashi powder, a little shortcut, adds so much flavor.
