I still play My League, but it sucks having to look at those hideous generic kits and play in the same stadium over and over. I’ve given myself to eFootball 25 for Konami to add master league and edit mode before I delete the game completely.

I'm still playing 21 update cause I'm also an absolute offline gamer, and the fact that they said Master League will be there but now it's 3 years and nothing, and like you say it can't be that hard to make an master league and editor mode

Efootball will never ever recover it's precious fanbase of the PES days ever again. It's a shame they even thought of starting a different route, whereas their fans loved the original game and its availability to mod. Should've stuck this route to FIFA only. Shame konami betrayed their fans

You should realize that not all pes fans play master league, I prefer to play pes with my friends than against the CPU, that's why efootball online is like a dream come true, I don't have to wait for my friends to come to my house anymore.

personally, I play it because I love the gameplay, I love building my team and beating up on scrubs in divisions, all the extra stuff never really mattered to me

I only play Efootball with my brothers, i don't care at all about all the online bs. I want Master League. They don't even have all the teams added it's so weird.

I dont like this modern day time. It's everything about money. Pay this, pay that, pay subscription for unlocking TV channels, pay subscription for news articles...etc. I mean...wtf?? It's everything about money. And games following that path. PES franchise was okay (if we speak from Efootball perspective). They need only upgrade game with new stuff. But they didn't. And also I don't understand why they force multiplayer things. I'm not MP player too. I don't play MP stuff most of time. Im SP player and I enjoy in single player games. Applause for those who like MP games but I'm not like they. Developers should think on people who play SP. Simple as that. Football games are SP games too. Every game should have SP part. Simple as that again. Konami are probably very greedy and don't care for his community. If they don't change soon, they'll get their karma. Karma will always strike. SP players are also very important thing in gaming. Not everyone like MP

I said it in the comments 2 years ago. It was so obvious Master League was never coming lol. Doesn't make sense for their business model.

The Co-op mode is not complete, its still half ass mode ! There is no Co-op division or levels or clans, for some reason there is points that are useless after all, there is no Co-op match making out of really short Coop events...

Ive given up on Master League hope or even cross-play and edit mode. I enjoy playing eFootball, but its lack of content at times is dumb. Just praying Konami doesn't drop the ball on Silent Hill. The free game they dropped was spooky and good, so hopefully the series is headed in a good direction.

Have made a mock master league on the league mode set myself GP limits to spend and set up a system to improve players stats based on increments , it’s not master league of course but it’s something as I miss it like you !

Actually, as a PES fan following your channel for 10 years, I kinda love Blue Lock a lot, and would love to see your reaction on it. Played eFootball a lot less than before as well...

Konami have recently released the old classic ML default team so it's still on their mind but are we getting no news updates on ML or edit mode? This is what is annoying me with them, no communication since Spring 2023 when ML was meant to release...

To avoid the frustration, I am still playing PeS 21. I've tried studying the Efootball series but I couldn't stick with it. I love Pes on both online and offline. The gameplay, mechanism, modding, etc...all fade away.

There are no words to explain how stupid it was to stop Pes and focus on a free play game. They managed for generations of consoles to port to new engines so unsure why this sudden change. The amount of people who still play pes 21 is insane, give the people what they want Konami

I still play pes 21 full manual and played efootball 24 and fifa 24 and none of them come close to pes 21. Konami fucked this one pretty bad

Right now there's no point even turning the game on anymore, nothing to do. I have more fun watching back my saved matches & goals from eF22 (I much preferred the gameplay back then, 1v1 wing play was prominent and the AI didn't defend for you) it's coming up to 3 whole years since this game was released since then the the only extra mode they've added is co-op, which is formatted like something you'd see in 2005. I know they make a lot of money from releasing new cards but they're not realising they could make a whole lot more if they actually gave us more things to do

Yeah the game basically started going backwards from V1.0 as up till then I was also enjoying it for most part. Then assisted defending came in and it’s just gotten progressively worse. Now the game just feels broken and errectic and that’s even with a good connection that is rare. For me I play the bare minimum just to get the coins and then logout. Definitely won’t spend money on this anymore. They’ve just given up so I will too

Konami has really let its fans down. So many loyal fans who did a lot of the work for them with option files etc. to help sell more copies of their games over the years. To be honest from talking to a lot of people over the last couple of years only the really hardcore are actually interested in playing any modern sports games. Most people want games like that of the PS1 era like ISS 98, Bottom of the 9th, NBA in the zone etc. Simple games which only need a small team to make but done with passion. You see indie programmers doing their best but they lack that professional finish. Konami are missing a trick here, there is a real market for it. In general there are some good modern games but I mostly play retro games now when I've got time.

I never liked E-Football, a player that prefers offline and creating cups to play with various teams in low difficulties... I have three years now to touch any football game! Yeah, that's me! I'm probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I've been playing over a year. I've gotten better finally figuring out this game a bit. I don't get blow out most games now. In saying that it's starting to get boring. Same old stuff. Thr rewards you get don't really matter so what to play for. Glad it's free.

I was a huge PES fan back in the day. Remember playing PES 3 and 4 with cousins back in the day, we'd spend weeks playing tournaments against each other. And then the glorious Master League, I used to take clubs like Real Betis and Fiorentina and play a couple of seasons with them until I win everything and then I'd start over with a different club. It's so unfortunate what happened to PES. Konami had PS1 and PS2 locked in completely, they had the randomness of football down while FIFA was stiff and "on rails". And then when the PS3 came around it shifted entirely, it's like Konami couldn't figure the new tech out. PES became "on rails" and FIFA found the randomness and was able to make the ball feel like it's own entity separate from the players on the pitch. They shouldn't have given up though, with the whole EAFC thing they missed out on an opening. Now "FIFA" has licensing issues and isn't what it used to be. Efootball is so unbelievably bad. There is no word for it, I literally have a hard time believing that anyone is actually playing that utter abomination of a football game.

It’s sad because the gameplay is fantastic, getting more and more frustrated with the amount of money you need to spend to get players. The latest update offers Romario, thing is you have a 1 in 50 chance of getting him and buying everyone just to get him would be about £35! No thanks. As you said they need to unlock everything and make it more accessible to offline gamers

Got that Romario on my free spin. Lucky too as I won’t spend real money on this game. I find the happiness is short lived tho as once you play afew online games you end up getting angry and annoyed at how broken this game actually is regardless of how good your cards are.

Fully agree with your view but no news at all, true? Just remember what they promised us in 2020/21 and they literally never delivered. Or just think of the announcement trailer which they mainly used to argue why there will only be an update of the 2020 version back in the days. Always the same story, we plan this…we will do that and in the end they just recycled most of the stuff…poor performance and I‘m one of the guys who quit playing eFootball.

Tried the game again Still no master league or cups . fed up of playing friendlys. Garbage game . Pes or e-Football died when konami decided to release 0.000000000000001% of the game instead of a full version with master league and cups . I.d like to know who brainstormed that idea "i know lets release a free "game" with no content whatsoever and charge people later for a content upgrade which i still havent got which i refuse to play for as it should be a complete game on day one . I gave up with that game ages ago . E football ? Now i know what it stands for Empty football . They have gone from Professinal Edit Soccer to Empty Football

Anybody waiting for Master League and Edit mode need to give it up. It's never going to happen, take it off the backburner and toss it in the trash.

I'm an Online Seasons player since PES days. I realized in efootball's latest update that offline mode is getting closer to PES ball physics/player movements etc… and I loved that and thought the game is getting better. The problem is in Online matches, the physics/movement is still like efootball's dumb movement! It's like two different games…! I don't know if anybody realized that apart from me! It's frustrating!

It was predicted early this game would NEVER come to fruition. Looks like that theory was proved right. Deleted quickly from my library, gave it a go. Find it incredibly insulting as someone who purchases the pes franchise year in and year out. Our only hope is 2k stepping up to make a good sim... As that UFL looks f*kn dreadful too. Let's be honest.

I don't play that shit game anymore. It's offline as bad as online almost. But online are so many many bugs that it is impossible to have just one decent game! And against d.1 teams you always lose, even though you play them literally against the wall because the scripting

Efootball with friends offline is incredible now but sadly they dont give you many teams to play with. But yeah offline with friends i actually think its the best gameplay since PES 6

Koinami are greedy and lazy af. And the co-op mode is a joke, so its like its not there.

I enjoy the efootball gameplay, but without master league I don’t really see a point in playing. Online sure it’s great, but offline the my league is rubbish. You play through one season and then start all over again and that season doesn’t actually matter. So disappointing.

Just forget about it mate konami will never release the master league any time soon 😞

It’s got that bad I’ve turned to fifa, this game since the last update has got worse, Konami will not bring back master league as long as guys are spending loads on coins, the game has got no modes to it, unlike fifa which has loads, they are going the mobile route which is sad

As someone who gave the online game a chance I can say it’s never been in a worst state. It’s basically a dumbed down card collecting panchinko machine at this point. Dodgy servers and connections ruin most games, the passing is so broken that passes either go directly to the oppositions feet or are comically underhit. The AI basically defends (or in some cases doesn’t defend) for you which I suppose Konami implemented to help noobs. I could go on all day but I generally just don’t enjoy playing this. I stopped spending money on this game and I suspect over time many other will too.

I think Konami in general have just lost the plot. With the decline of PES and the massive fumble with Metal Gear Solid franchise, how are they ever going to get fans of two of the biggest game series ever, back onside?

The first game I give a negative reviews... I always preferred pes. Efootball is basically cash grab & it's a unfinish football game. The only reason I play this game is to play against friend irl except they're on mobile & I'm pc, console player.

I gave up any last hope I had for this game a long time ago. No idea why people keep spending money on it as it isn't even worth playing. Every update the gameplay becomes more automated/assisted and the skill gap gets smaller. All so Konami can maximise profit from microtransactions because at the end of the day, that's all they care about now. The passion they once had for making great football simulations has completely gone and has subsequently been replaced with pure greed.

I was away from home for around 6 months from September’23 to March ‘24. Didn’t play any efootball and when I eventually fired it up again and updated it to latest version I couldn’t believe how bad it’s gotten. Everything feels automated and on rails. Passing is broken I could go on and on. How do Konami call this ‘updating’ when the game has just gotten worse? I have a theory they they purposefully ruin gameplay so that when a big August/September update comes out and they put it back to normal people will think it’s an improvement? So we just go in circles.

@@Neo_Rain146 I don't think Konami are intentionally breaking the gameplay as such. All they're doing is giving the user less and less control by increasing the level of automation. It's all to do with player retention at the end of the day. By narrowing the skill gap it gives all players an equal chance of winning. The more people they have playing, the more potential revenue they can make from coins and so on. If they lowered the level of automation/assistance and made the game more skill based they'd just end up losing half the player base. Unfortunately, this type of strategy is typical for most F2P live service games these days. These companies don't care about satisfying the player base/community, they just do whatever makes the most business sense.

Us PES purists all complain about the same things and compare how this game just does not measure up to previous PES games in terms of gameplay and even graphically yet Konami ignore that. Instead it’s just recycled cards and less control of what is actually happening in the gameplay. I find myself struggling to beat div 3 players now when it was not an issue let’s say a year ago (I’m someone that got to div 1 previously quite easily) so it’s zapped the enjoyment entirely out of it for me.

I'm in the same boat as you regarding your struggle to beat lesser skilled players. Even as a Div 1 FUMA player myself, I find it incredibly difficult to find ways to get around the ridiculously overpowered AI. They're like magnets to the ball I swear. There is just no freedom to play anymore. It's like any attempt at being creative gets immediately shut down by the AI and that's what frustrates me the most. The relentless pressure, the auto interceptions, the last minute blocks out of nowhere...it drives me insane. Never played a football game so frustrating & unrewarding in my life.

Donating money to Konami is wild. They are a massive company, they'll just take that money and put it in their pockets.

Lets all admit it. The game is complete trash. It has potential, but it's nowhere near where it should be. We've all trashed this game when it came out, and it's almost the same game 4 years later. Sad thing is, there are no other good football games either.If there's no XCOM 3 coming, I can at least play some other turn-based game worth doing so.

I played PES 2019 the lighting and replays and sound and crowd are crips and look so real, the sunlight in the replays and the shadows look even better then pes 2020/2021/2022 etc.......... @@SkLassi-en1ds The graphics in both games aren't great. The issue with FIFA/EAFC is not how the players look, it's how they move. Someone described it very well - they look like puppets on strings. As for the gameplay, eFootball's is certainly not perfect, but it's far more realistic.

I’ve recently switched from Fifa to EFootball. I can’t honestly say EFootball gameplay wise is 10x better than fifa. Although EFootball does lack content. Become a legend, master league, would be great content

I'm still playing PES 2010 and 2013 and think that players should just start embracing the old games. The PES community luckily has gotten a lot of good games before this crap came out in 2022.
