Diaz Acosta is one of the most enterntaining players on the tour for me personally. It's been a long time since there was a lefty with such an aggressive playstyle, but yet a lot of variety in his game. He reminds me of Kližan or Verdasco. I want to see him succeed.

because his forehand is too good, imagine if he had at least an average backhand

You don't understand it? The rest of his game is amazing, that's why. He's a talented player. Y'all are like a broken record 🤦‍♀️ Yes, his bh was more solid some years ago (before his elbow surgery) but there's no need to act like he's the only player with weaknesses.

Plus, though it may not seem, that top spin high ball he delivers with his backhand is not easy to deal with, its only when its not deep enough when it gives the opponent a chance to attack

Calm down guys, it was more like a rhetorical question, I know all about his forehand and how good it is. I wanted some discussion which is exactly what I got, so thank you. PS: I didn't know about his elbow surgery.

Lajovic has the gamestyle of Wawrinka, heavy penetrating balls on both wings. Wish he could be more agressive like Wawrinka.

9:17 look at that return position from Lajovic 😆guess he was pretty sure about where the ball was gonna land in

Yeah he was probably expecting it way more to the left on his backhand side like most one handers do, but in the end it was a body serve landing right in his striking zone... surely felt nice for him :)
