For those who have contacted me and asked, someone has made a completely bogus claim on my IW 2023 Extras #1 video (Dimitrov, Giorgi, Musetti) claiming a copyright on the Giorgi portion of that clip, which is completely false as I shot that practice as did many other people who were there at the same time. It is clearly not the claimant's video (and I don't want to mention that site's channel/videos or give them any publicity whatsoever) because the claimant's Giorgi video clips were shot in lower quality/resolution and none were even in 4k 60fps, which all of you know is what I've been shooting at for years now. Plus, the shooting angles weren't even exactly the same. So it should've been obvious that there was no way I could have ripped off any of his Giorgi clips. I've submitted a counter notification for the false claim, and I'm hoping that video will be restored very soon. Thanks for your patience. [Edited to update - it's finally reinstated thankfully and the erroneous copyright strike removed]

Yikes, sorry for the issue. On this topic, would it be possible for me to get permission from you to use a few frames of any of your videos to demonstrate a teaching point in a private video I am making just for myself and a student? I would, of course, give you credit on the screen and wouldn't be using it for any monetary gain, just a personal video. Thanks in advance.

@ Liam - the video will be back soon. Claimant told me he's taking back the erroneous copyright claim. You really should come to IW one of these days and shoot some video here as it's becoming the norm that most of the practice sessions with the top pros are scheduled around the same, and I'm forced to pick and choose and missing out on a lot of good practices as I can't be everywhere at once. @ Derrill Mallet - sure.

@@12kgpTennis glad that it should all be sorted, I would love to go to IW maybe next year. It would probably be super busy there anyways with lots of people getting the same footage right? Would be a good experience but I think you and others would have lots of practices covered. Although I'm not sure if it gets packed on the practice courts where you can be directly behind the players on the court?

@Liam - Even as fan attendance at IW has increased over the years (aside from 2021/2022), I generally don't find it that difficult to get great views for almost all practices. Certainly not even close to peak Big 3 era (especially w/ Fed and Rafa where people used to camp out for hours... especially Fed). If for some reason a particular practice is packed and I can't get a good view, I'll just move on to something else. First and foremost, I'm going as a fan and just want to watch good tennis, and I'm not going to camp out for a long time to stake a spot to shoot a particular practice. It's not worth it, especially since I've gotten to see basically every top player up close by now.

It's actually why I wanted to get some video of Sonego as I stumbled on this practice session. We all can't look like Fed hitting the ball. Don't always need to have pretty strokes to play tennis well.
