@@pillow1557 Yeah, it's a worldwide problem with being addicted to your smartphone. I have the same issue sometimes, but during movies or tv shows I focus on just that one thing because I am very passionate and I like to immerse myself. Some of my friends aren't as hooked on immersion which leads to them doing a bit of chatting on their phone during parts they may find boring, they are still very much my friends :) I also have friends who get super immersed like me so I think it's just a matter of what type of person you are.

That's actually sadly accurate. I mean, I know I can't live without my phone. But come on, when you're doing a movie session with your friends or family, we're sharing this moment together, and we put the movie to *watch* it. If it isn't something absolutely urgent, focus on the movie and enjoy it. You're literally missing out. You'll have all the time after the movie to check your phone.

My mom and grandma would literally ask me to explain why shit is happening WHILE we watch any movie 😂 I think it's mostly because they want to talk with us tho. Although, I don't really talk much, so I usually just give out a vague answer or just straight up justify the scene by my own standard 😂
