I always thought it was silly that the enemy throwing themselves at you year after year as they rack up insane casualties doesn't give you tons of war participation Like, I defended against the Soviets as Finland for years, killed 5+ million troops before Germany ever declared on them, and THEY get the war score because they took more land? If this was any other Paradox game, taking out millions of troops in battle would give you crazy war score

And its been like this since launch, I'm honestly not sure why they haven't changed it at all yet. The problem of warscore alone makes playing minors even more difficult than they already need to be. I suppose there's always modding, so that the player can avoid the worst of the AI bordergore.

They should have a random number generator to specify what casualties are i.e. wounded, killed or captured. It would be pretty fun to see soldiers returned to the manpower pool when their injuries are healed or they are rescued from occupied territory.

It's sort of like a Mediterranean DLC that gave focuses to Bulgaria, Greece and Turkey, but kept the original crappy Italian focus tree. It's kinda the reason why I never play vanilla HOI 4.

Sometimes Isorrow Productions reminds me of the story of the fallout vault dweller who was locked in a vault for a year with only a box of puppets. He eventually went mad and made up backstories for the puppets. One day he escaped into the wasteland as a crazy person.

there's actually a pretty cool Liberian focus tree as part of the Elfangor season pass that gives you cores on all of Africa if you go Communist or Fascist iirc. So at least manpower won't be the struggle there, unfortunately factories and steel are huge issues

Ethiopia is actually kinda fun, especially in R56 where you get some extra buffs via some focuses for the country and can even get some land for free basically from the UK and French after you're done overcooking all of the pasta people in your mountains terrain.

Estonia is one of my favorite countries to play as. I don't win or even survive often, but when I do it feels amazing.
