“Taupe” is a real colour. As is “gamboge”. Also “ecru”.

That is literally my exact printer. Funniest skit I've seen in ages.

My Printer's business hours (where it works on first try): Weekdays: 01.33 AM - 01.34 AM, Saturday 03.30 PM- 05.00 PM (it knows I'm watching football then...), Sunday *evil printer jamming noises*

Mine likes to roast me on Sundays to get out of doing last minute printing and most likely send me to therapy.

My printer has a flashing blue wifi light - on-off-on-off all day and night. It's in my bedroom fml

@@dooleyben like a decade ago I had a computer with blue LEDs on the front panel. I was afraid of opening up the case so I wiggled them and pushed them in. I got one to stop working. Some time later I sent the whole tower for repairs. "Ah, while we were at it we reconnected the LED" (Nowadays I have no problem opening computers up and fiddling with their guts)

This is SO relatable! It's always easier to replace the whole printer instead of the inc. I bet the printer companies know that. (And as a german native speaker, I really like that accent)

As somebody who owns an Epson printer which _literally costs $600+ to refill,_ sometimes forgets what Wi-Fi is, and has existential crises regarding paper, this is absolutely spot-on. 😂👍

My old Epson wouldn't even scan to documents if one ink cart was low. Never bought the ink, never bought another Epson. Still angers me 15 years later.

LMAFO!! This is SO true... I once had a printer that was perfectly good except it's "sponge" was full... No joke - the sponge that would collect the excess ink when it cleaned the printer heads was full, so... Guess what? No printing and no way to change the ink tampon... Had to buy a new printer...

Luckily, HP have hplip drivers for Linux. Lets you avoid the crap.

After my last printer died with a brand new set of cartridges about ten years ago, I decided it was much cheaper to go to a print center. Never looked back. Let the print center have all the heartaches and frustration.

It's cheaper to order a hitman on the dark (flaub) web to go to the secret government facility where they stockpile Epson printer cartidges, fight his way in, grab 2 cartridges, fight his way out, and deliver them to you than it is to buy 2 printer cartridges.

actually, come to think of it, I think I'd have liked to have bought the new printer, opened the box, grabbed the ink and pocketed that and thrown the printer on the floor so it smashed into a thousand smithereens and walk out. Maybe we should ALL do that and, hopefully, one day they might get the message, because this is a massive waste of consumer's time and money and global resources.

I actually just write things down in biro as its often quicker and cheaper than using the printer. I own a 3D printer, and I don't understand how printing physical objects is less stressful than onto paper. Maybe one day I'll just be able to print sheets or already printed paper, instead of onto the paper.

Why does Epson have so many models, when the Damn things haven’t changed in a thousand years. They have in fact become much worse.

so much truth here...mine's a Canon but same, same......can never recognise the only computer that it's been used with....

probably easier to handwrite the form in calligraphy...faster, too!

This is why I just abandoned my printer when I was last forced to move .. Now, if something needs printing? Oh no it doesn't. :P

Did not have any problem since I installed a continuous ink system for my Canon. It is really easy to install and you can save a lot of money. Would recommend

For every legible print I have to print 5 pages of "clean printer heads & align printer heads", and scan is now rubbish despite being OK in the beginning. Hardly used it but I guess it "expired" somehow, the scan feature is made with organic parts...like...potato..?
