Your so welcome! ☺️ they stayed curly the whole time I wore them 😄 they lost a little curl after I colored them but that was all. They actually felt pretty good 😊 they were a little dry but using conditioner and leave in conditioner helped ☺️

What heat would you use, if the oven has 1-6 heatstages?

I started at 6 to get the water boiling then with the hair in it was at about 3 or 4 ☺️

Yeah I don’t know how either. But whatever reason it didn’t breaks , it turned out flawlessly. I’m guessing if you can flat iron then you can boil because flat ironing gets hotter then boiling temperature if I’m correct

The only bad thing about the boiling method is that it shrank the hair to half than it would be straight as well as darken it. When you combed out the boiled hair did it eventually get longer ?

Any hair that your putting any type of curl shrinks up my hair shrinks up about an inch to inch and 1/2 from perming it. So when you buy hair you have to keep in mind that it’ll shrink and make sure you get long enough. It’ll be some what longer when you brush it 😊

Aww thanks so much ☺️ I did 2 different methods of getting my extensions curly I didn’t boil the 1s I permed they were new extensions 😊 I wouldn’t boil them if you use a perm solution on them 😊

Did you do the perm or boiling method? The boiling worked better for me. I used shea moisture Jamaican black castor oil strength and restore conditioner.

Oh sorry I didn’t see your other comment that’s so weird that it melted! Keep an eye on them maybe you’ll have to not keep them in as long make sure they don’t start looking gummy

What’s the purpose of the boiling? I know that’s how you curl synthetic hair, but never heard of it for human hair. Did you perm them and THEN boil them as a deep conditioning treatment? 😅 I mean they look great!

I was trying to get them as curly as my hair so they would match. Actual perming didn’t get them very curly. I had 2 packs 1 pack I permed and 1 I boiled to see which method would work best. The boiling got them way curlier then the perming. I was experimenting lol 😝 thanks 😊

Did you boil the already permed extensions or those were straight extensions?

Ok girl I tried it again (boiling method on blonde extension) and I seriously have no idea what I’m doing wrong. So I purchased the exact same perm rods you have, I got coconut oil and she’s moisture conditioner (not the exact bottle you used but same brand) I even bought a mini fan to help extension dry faster. So this time extension didn’t burn or melt because I used coconut oil and conditioner…now the issue is that the extensions don’t keep the curl. After. Completely dry for a day next to mini fan, I add water and the curls fall flat and become straight never to curl back after dry. Like what the actual hell am I doing wrong?! Like how the hell is your coming out so perfectly? I’m using the same exact tools, maybe it’s the pan im using , maybe I should get a pot because I was using a skillet. Im going to buy a pot like the one you have and if that fails too, im just going to do the chemical perm method as plan b. Which perm brand did you use by the way? I know you said alkaline but what brand ?

Oh no! I don’t understand why it’s not working 🙁 every time I’ve done it it’s stayed curly. Are you boiling it for over an hour? Maybe boil for 2 hours. I use Zotos quantum ultra firm perms

Some people boil longer than an hour I thought maybe it would help keep the curl. I didn’t use the permed ones so I can’t say how long they lasted

If the is wrapped tight enough and it don’t mess with it to much it should stay in place or u can take it out and put a little rubber elastic on it ☺️ yay!! How fun! 😄

@@loveinthisworld3063 that sounds insane. Maybe you were not using good brand of extensions or left them in too long. Did you perm it before boiling?? I’m curious because flat iron gets hotter then boiling method and no one’s hair ever melts after flat ironing, yes maybe slightly shed but melting no
