Cool project I think I'm able to help out, but I would suggest running it more like a company because I presume you would like to sell these drones someday?

You’re having a similar issue to thrive, when thrive was in its early stages everyone was just dreaming about what this game could be and at some point topics like underwater civilisations got banned because of it. Eventually they solved it by turning the project from volunteer only to a non profit organisation that’s officially registered and has some part time employees funded by donations. It might be a good idea if you converge on the same solution, making Naevius an official company and having some part time employees, maybe collage students trying to earn some money or other people that at least know what they are doing and paying them a salary based off donations. Once you start selling these drones you could then switch up to a more standard buisness model of course, but as a starter it might be the smartest choice. You might already have done all this and I'm just being stupid but incase not, theres some advice for you there. Good luck on your project, I might join for marketing once I'm done with some of the more urgent irl stuff :))

non profit is definietly a future plan. but as of now we dont have funding yet to be able to do that.
