Trying to FIX: Joblot of 10x Faulty Robotic Vacuum Cleaners
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Hi, in this video I attempt to repair 10 faulty Eufy Robotic vacuum cleaners that I purchased from eBay for £165 ($212)
Remember that this is just for entertainment and I am not an expert in these repairs. The processes in the video may not be the best way, the correct way or the safest way to fix these things.
I do love fault finding and trying to fix broken things so I hope that comes across in this 'Trying to FIX' series.
Many thanks, Vince.

10 minutes in and I agree with you 100%. These died from lack of generic maintenance and user neglect.
I just watched ONE video about a robot vacuum a week ago, and now KZread filled my page with recommendation. I found myself watching 40 minutes of a man fixing 10 robots that I don't even own...
Haha loved seeing all of them going together at the end 😂

I am always amazed when looking at videos like this, HOW much lack of attention with their products most/some people have. I might be over careful but some people are really not interested at all about their properties. Exactly what a consumer based economy wants

Awesome!! My vacuum makes a grinding sound and watching this made me realize it is still under warranty so I sent them an e-mail. I'm glad you did this video and let me see the inside of the vacuum.
Yes! My six year old son and I have been checking your channel every day since you said in the comments that you would fix and turn them all on at once - thanks it had us both laughing hard at the end. Cheers Vince! Our Favorite channel.
If youtube doesn’t work out you can always clean up after the Robot Wars 🤣
Vince I love your videos always have. Well done getting them all working. Loving the modified wheels. The end of the video had me in stitches literally.
Thanks Vince. You inspired me to do some repairs myself. Just completed my second real repair of an instax camera. Only gave myself one big electric shock. Learning all the time.
Ok VINCE, this has to be my FAVORITE video of yours, although I love them all... You really had me smiling at the end with them all goin at once.. Keep doin what you do, my hubby n I love watching your vids... Much respect from California, USA...
Now THIS is the quality content I subscribed for 😂 I got such a good laugh out of this
I worked in the vacuum repair industry for over 6 years. We had a graveyard of donor vacuums from Electrolux, Hoover, Miele, Advance, Kirby, Sanitaire, Rainbow, and more.
Your skills are getting better and better every time I watch!!! well done bro!
This is where a 3d printer is perfect, print yourself a new gear/s

To a degree, but I doubt the time needed to design the gear in a CAD program would be all that cost effective, not to mention just learning the CAD program in the first place.

@@Pillock25 no, it will be worth. The skill he obtain will be used for next fix. For me having 3D printer is advantage for fixing stuff. Plus, 3D printer had large community. Searching a gear template with adjustable perimeter is just a matter of second. So yes, in my opinion it worth having 3D printer and learn CAD.
Bloody hell! The end of this video looked like a scary episode of Dr. Who lol! Great video Vince, keep it up mate!

10 robots in 1 kitchen - little bit overkill :) Fun to watch. Nice job.
Can't beat a selection of donor parts, I used SPST switch from an old stairlift I stripped 13 years ago to repair my son's electric scooter. he wasn't even born at the time and was amazed that I had done this.
Thank you, mate. I enjoy your videos. And most of my comments. I say before the video is finished. And then I noticed that you have fixed stuff that I've already sent.
I love that you took the time to fix all these guys.. I enjoyed watching all of them scoot around 😁
If you have a split gears take them apart with a blade and replase the small one glue them together! Love your fixing Yoda fault finding skills!
Ive been watching for years and this one could be my fave LOL!
Really interesting video, well put together, enjoyed it especially the vacuum chaos at the end. Subscribed and look forward to more!
Nice fixes, loved the ending with the robot army cleaning your kitchen, great fun.
Vince you should get a 3d printer! I got one and i've already used it to fix a label printer for ebay, cost me £20 untested and one of the holding clips wasnt holding anymore so I printed a new one and now it works flawlessly. Saved me at least £30 if not more, it will pay for itself. I suppose the only hard part is designing the models, I have a friend who does it for me but some common parts can just be downloaded.
@gower1973

George Brooke big difference between making a clip and making gears, you need to know the math to calculate the proper involuted angle to profile the teeth, its waste of money to buy a printer for hundreds of pounds when you can just buy the parts from the Shenzhen market for pennies.
@tumbles8350
2 жыл бұрын
Have you ever made gears on a printer? No maths, just count the amount of teeth and there will be a way to generate the gear you want, I got a printer about 4 years ago for 150, that's the price of 10 of those gear parts he mentioned. Still working to this day perfectly. Saves you pissing about crossing your fingers hoping you don't die of old age before the parts arrive from China.
So I lost to you on that joblot on ebay. When I lost the lot I was angry at first but now I know I lost to the mighty VINCE who makes these awesome videos I'm not angry any more. Keep up these wonderful videos dude :)
I think Vince surprises his self sometimes when he's trying to fix something lol the ending was great that livened up the video more that it was already
Oh god with his army of robot vacuums Vince has become more powerful than anyone could of possibly imagined!
I found this interesting and entertaining. Thanks, Vince. Maybe I'll get one someday, now I know how it works and some fixes for problems.
Brilliant Vince, a nice laugh in the kitchen. Well done that man robot.

YES!!!! A huge job lot =D Awesome job =D 10 minutes later Ben : "Where have the wheels gone from my F15?" Vince : "The undercarriage is tucked inside the plane!". Loved the ending there - you should have set them all off as the wife came home and said - "these are the ones that will keep the kitchen clean, I've got 10 more for each other room in the house, just step over them and you will be fine!". The noise lol!!!!

I was hoping for the robot army thing to happen all video long. Did not get disappointed 🎉
Brilliant video. Loved the ending
Brilliant, Vince!
Vince, the vacuum guy, is at it again!
Great videos!! :) I bid on these as well, if I remember correctly I bid 120 :) Continue doing what you do, very entartaining!
I've watched a couple of your videos vince and found them interesting. I forgot to like them so I shall do that. Great video mate 👍🏽 👌
Vince's Vacuum Army "that's a good one"!
This is neat; now I know more about how to disassemble and repair my own. These are actually pretty good vacuums considering the pricing - and as always, a little maintenance goes a long way.

isn't it amazing to fix your own stuff? in an age that everything is disposable. love tinkering and fixing old crap i get for cheap online or find on the side of the road. has become a legit hobby for myself :)
Great vid Vince !
Great video Vince 👍
nice set of fixes. I would keep all 11 and have 1 in each room. Set them all to start cleaning at the same time. Could also add some flails to a couple and have them as the overseers to keep the others in line.
Favourite part was where you had them all go loose in the kitchen. 😂
The ending is awesome
Loved this one, and that ending lmao... it was like you had a bunch of pac-men racing around your kitchen floor
Nice video.Awesome cleanup rally
This is robot vacuum war !! Thanks for the video !!!
A version of this video could go viral Vince - maybe you should make one with just the robot vacuum war at the end, or make another with them playing football.... they'll need jerseys though. Odd number? Make one striped as a ref.
Keep in mind a lot of the chain run products use off the shelf parts Example: 28.50 those rollers are just like the rollers used in ink and bubble jet printers paper guild trays, Meaning more stuff you take apart and squirrel away parts, the more stuff you can fix for less money later down the road.
Haha great video vince. I think you did a great investment on that job lot. Great profit. The last part was so funny watching all the vacuums going, looked like huge bugs haha. Really funny ending for the video
love your videos as always
Now that was an epic Robot Wars episode!
Just clicked on the video but i really hope you let all 10 run wild in one room
Grab yourself a set of needle files Vince, they`ll work a treat for taking little amounts of material off things... Good video again, even though you won`t leave those parts alone when soldering lol I keep shouting at the screen "don`t touch it" ! :) Don`t get me wrong here, I`m not a critic. In fact I really enjoy your approach and take a lot of what I do from what you are showing. Even though you don`t blow your own trumpet, you will be teaching people these skills without even intending to. We all learn from others and I commend what you are doing :)
Nice!! Great group shot... :-)
very nice repairs
I would place a couple of small rubber bands on the worn brush end for a tighter fit to save buying a new one. I dont like spending money LOFF. Great videos mate. 73's M6APJ
I loved the ending of the robots just zooming around 😂
haha the end is the best ! Nice army !
super cool the army of robots!
Found you via StezStix Fix channel (another excellent electronics/console repair channel!), and glad I did … sub’d 👍
You made that look easy....but i can tell that you it isn't. the mosfet replacement is not for the faint hearted...but achievable if you have the right tools and materials. That is a learning process that has been long and painful for me. Anyway, great work dude...absolutely love it...peace.
Well done Vince. Best bit was watching them all scamper around your kitchen floor. Hilarious
"My mate tickle you clean" sounds like a very dirty movie
Great job.
The ending just had me in splits ! 😂
Amazing video! 😂
I really enjoyed this! The aircraft wheels fix has to rank up there as one of your best ever, simple and effective, well done :) Oh and that ending had me smiling from ear to ear, it's worth keeping them all just to do that when people come round :D
add something too a robot army to make something new? confirmed Vince is working on making a Dalek army.
Best fix of the lot is that tiny wheel. Great use of a cheap broken toy. Nice repairs Vince. Fair play these seem really well designed. Id happily buy and use one of these, are you thinking of selling any? I know you said you giving some away to family and friends Love that ending haha
Love the end
"they've backed me into a corner" uh oh, the robot uprising begins!
İ love your Try to fix vids
Nice video!!!!!!
Check into baking soda and super glue for making gear teeth. It is amazingly strong and can be used for all kinds of repairs. After setting it can be filed to make teeth.
That was a steal of a joblot!
You're the man 🤗👏👏👏👍
Hey Vince after watching the ending again I noticed one of the cleaners had tendency to bear to the right. It's as if a wheel is jammed up, watch it back the top of the screen there is one that isn't going straight.
I'm having my third vacuum robot now (Bought my first 2008) and I have taken parts 3 so I can can do something smart with those parts someday...
I bought a graphics card from ebay that was sold as faulty for £3.30, changed the thermal paste, it now works great.
31:29 - That screwdriver set on your left, does it have everything? Including tiniest heads? And extensions for screws hidden deep inside the device? Would you recommend to buy that set?
I’d love to know your wife’s thoughts on your purchases Vince! Loved the video 😂
I love these videos Vince. Very interesting and entertaining.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ THE FUTURE IS NOW ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ My whole opinion of these devices changed when I watched 10 swarming! I was elated and terrified at the same time. Is there nothing that MMV can't fix (in a entertaining & educational fashion) ? 🇺🇸 ❤'s 🇬🇧
From you thumbnail I initially thought you were making a robo vacuum gang! Lol.
Love You Mate ♥️
So My Mate Vince started skynet with his robot cleaning army and doomed the human race. Haha
Yeah, it's so frustrating that manufacturers use plastic instead of metal for critical parts like gears. I bought a couple of vintage film projectors hoping to combine parts to get one working -- but both had broken plastic gears. So I ended up with a couple of door stops. :-(
