I tell ya a trick on saving your knee on these first kicks after a build. Buy a 12 pack of beer. Invite two buddy’s over and say. “I bet y’all ant man enough to kick this thing over”. I recommend two buddy’s that way if you are off and brake the first one’s knee ya have a back up. Works like a charm. By the time you get to your knee she is dialed in 👌

Thats a hell of a motor man. I had a stroker 103 twin cam about 3 years ago, it was the strongest runner ive ever had. Fuckin sold it like an idiot. Love what you do man and always a thumbs up from me...

Aye hippy I might be mistaken but it sounds like you’re attempting the kick on the front cylinder . Get it on rear cylinder compression stroke. Use the mechanical advantage on the stroker flywheels

Don't let that damn leg back bro.

Now you can take more vacation days and this side job will cover your lost income. Something more serious, unless I misunderstood you are turning your engine backward to the advance mark. I think it was Keenan Tatro who explained about the timing will be off if you do that. Has to do with gear lash or play in the components, can't remember the details now, but he emphasized if you turn it backward to go past the mark then turn it forward to the mark. Bike looks real good, my back would not like a hardtail but I like the look. Red Rider, out in B.C. Canada has a channel and a nice S&S stroker shovel, also kick only. She has spent time kicking it until she finally got it tuned in, fun and informative to watch. Hope your paint and chrome get back so you can finish it and do a decent test ride.

Yeah hippie, I can back up what that guy saying, he just brought back memories. I did watch that same episode from tatro and that is what he said, and any expert will tell you that about pulling it backwards. It Will throw your timing off because of gear lash -that commentor above is right!!! SLICK

Sounds like me. Well this one is titled to a 78. But it’s got that motor. The motor to this frame is on the 75. This ones tittled to a 74 but it’s got that motor on it. I’m gonna use the frame from this motor for the new one I’m building. There all number matching tittled bikes. They just ant assembled that way 😂😂😂

Not a fan of that seat. To b honest, hope I don't offend u. I think the king queen seat looked awesome on her. I just don't like the leather work. A bit sloppy is all. U did a great job on the pan, just think ur man dropped the ball, for $400 hiway robbery. As long as I like it that's all that really matters...👍

I’ve been thinking about trying Rotella t 15-40 diesel oil in my 83 shovel, just for winter time, any thoughts? I’m in Michigan it’s about 38°. I just feel that 60 weight is extra thick for winter.

Don't know much about Rotella, but I personally wouldn't run anything lower than 50w. Just my opinion though. I mean how much do you really get to ride in MI in the winter I guess
