First corner everytime gets hit from the ai, resulting in side pod damage. Everytime!! Ai is way to aggressive

They behave the same in the mobile game as well and all that matters is how much power your car has. The game is so bad.

I do like the new AI and a lot of the feels to the new game, jus think they do need that straight line nerf, bit more effected by tyre wear an a little more 'I' in their 'A', constant battling an the same bad pit choice drag a great experience Love the vids thank yooouuu

They have a better AI than NASCAR games have had over the past few years.

Racing against 110 percent AI is an absolute insane challenge.

I love that the ai battle each other too and don’t just drive like a train the whole time. Also, from time to time, they make mistakes and run wide or lock up, which is great to see. However, there are issues.. Their straight line speed is ludicrous sometimes, and I think it’s because they have perfect throttle control and get an amazing exit every time. Same reason for their starts being incredibly fast.. Another issue is that they can be too aggressive and their cars are like a tank. They get no damage and plow right through you unscathed. I’m not a rammer and don’t push ai’s off the track, but even if you wanted to, you can’t. To do a test, I’ve driven flat out, with drs and overtake active, straight into a slow car in a tight corner, and their car hardly moved a couple inches and just continued going down its path while my car was demolished… Really sucks for the immersion when ai are indestructible and always come out untouched from an incident while your race is ruined.. And they cause a lot of them lol

The AI do really need nerfing on the straight line section, its like my chance to pass them is only on the corners and once on the straight line they easily over-power me even when im using ers and driving mercedes or rb

i think this is mainly because the ai essentially has traction control, or 'knows' the perfect maximum throttle, so they get the perfect exit and perfect acceleration every time. because this effect feels way worse in the rain where you struggle for grip and the ai just zooms away

I really like JD extreme downshifts and as I said in a previous video comment, I think this can favor JD pretty much and help him get some success on on-line races

Bruh these cars are super hard to drive this year! And the AI is definitely faster and harder to overtake! Makes it fun! Traction control is wild too especially if you play with a controller vs a wheel.

great driving there! I love the career mode and I have started with my own team. I am on 66% AI, it is a huge challenge for me, fairly a n00b with a gamepad. And I always go 100% racing distance because only then I find that you and the AI need to work with realistic strategies. This can be very exhausting though. One question: Is it a feature or a bug, that (already in F1 2021) your engineer gives you radio details at the worst possible times, in the hardest braking zones? Fairly annoying tbh.

A small tip jd the pit stop timing idk if it's bugged but you have to press the button a little bit before you cross the indication not at the same time like a half a sec before you pass it

People need to understand that playing a racing game, should not consist on starting last and finishing first (at least when playing simulators) this race was perfect, the main goal is to keep up the pace, try to overtake as much as possible but always being clean and logical. If you started 15th and finished 12th, that is perfect, that was a great race and you should not be disappointed. (Again, this is at least with simulators)

The way you get excited while speaking over a recording makes it really funny haha

I know everyone has picked up on the straight line speed problem, but the A.I is also ridiculous in the wet too. It just bolts out of the corners like it's racing a dry track.

In the pit-lane, you have to press X about 0.5 s- 0.4s to get perfect entry on the timer

What wheel did you get? My first tip is to go straight of fast to traction medium and then off. I did the same and it’s a pain in the ass in the beginning and flashbacks will be used😂

Just got g29 and I will say its a good beginner wheel on My first and can say learning to play f1 again and was almost on expert on controller and now learning to drive so second time i playin f1 21 story mode 😅😅

as far as i experienced with immersive pit stops you have to press X at 0.1/0.2 to get the perfect pit stops, its not synchronized

That was a display of a very high degree of concentration for a fair duration of time

On the last Xbox update, my thrust master wheel shit the bed. Wouldn’t do anything. I left it alone for a week. When I started the game, both the console and the game needed an update. That’s fixed the problem. That being said, F2 is way better as far as an immersive driving experience.

try giving a little gas as soon as you're in the middle of the turns. even at slowest don't completely lift if off. that should give you 3/10s per lap easily or more

The AI are so strong this year. I’m down 10-15 points and still down the list.

I think the ai straight line speed is to strong. But great vid really nice race!

The AI seems to uses the default preset setup (that shows up being in-use for player at the beginning of the session before we change anything) for each track, so if you lower the wing setup a little from that baseline, you could notice a slight advantage over the AI at the end of the straights. The problem is still how they seems to have unlimited ERS and doesn't affect by component wears. Can you try to experiment with the ERS assist set to ON to see if that gives you an advantage compare to do it manually?

now you have played on all 3 platforms, do you think cross platform is gonna work, can you do the same lap time on all 3 platforms, take same curbs etc, sets up the same?

fun as hell game this and moto gp 22. Good year for racing games. IM pretty shocked how easy it is for you to overtake in this game. Seems like its harder in the old games like F12 99-02 C by a long way. You might have more of a challenge, not fiddling with any set ups , do it completely default, you almost have to make your own personal life harder in the car just to make it a challenge for you it seems. it shouldl be actually impossible on 110%. Like impossible lol. Should be neck and neck on 100%.

Just did a 71 lap race here just now and got a 1:07:356 the more laps I did...the more I started trusting the car. I wanted to switch to softs to go for a faster lap but it rained.

I think you put too much wing for a track like Austria (for example I use 15-15 and best TT lap has also rear wing at 15), that's why AI seems so fast on the straights

Have you tried other tracks as well? Since in F1 2021 they were unbeatable at Zandvoort and Suzuka.

I play on controller, I play it in 60!!!! And it makes me sweat!!!! Speacially Lecrerc!!! Lecrerc seems to be (for me) the hardes to pass all the time!!!! He got a hell of a pace!!!!!!!!

Incredible. I mean I'm still using a TC and ABS. But I'm struggling to set the AI up on my championship. I averaged 90 AI, on 21. But my last settings I was using 80 AI and using Mercedes but was 14th in Q1 at Bahrain. Spoken to a lot of folk having the same problem. Seemingly 15mph faster down the straights. Might not affect solo GP’s though.

The ai have always been op in qualifying. In last years game, you could only get pole with 110 ai if you were setting a time close to world record and it's the same for this one

I used to play 100+ AI on past games, tried a 90 AI in Bahrain and couldnt even qualify in top 10😂😂😂 also had to use medium TC after 4 years because the cars were spinning like hell

Its a mercedes, use a haas and ez top 7. Well seriously, i reccomend to quickly get a setup from time trial and test it in practice. Use the 3 prqctice sessions for 3 setups and if rain is forecasr use time trial

@@noobpyxl I typically use and adaft Trl Limitless setups. And I did for this track. Still finished where I did. Really annoying. I don't want to drop the AI any further because if this OP nonsense gets patched half way through a season, it'll them become to easy 🤦‍♂️

@@gary5852 fair enough but I've never raced higher than 90 AI on 21. Never struggled like this. It's a good setup even on v low downforce but last in Q2 is total nonsense.

I played on 70% ai for my career for mercedes and lewis finished in the same car 20 seconds ahead of me while i was in 3rd . Which i weird cause ive done last to first on 70%. Ai is real inconsistent

i still prefer playing the cockpit view specially if you are using the wheel and racing seats

Grand Prix 2 from Microprose 1996 was much more realistic, funny and challenging than this new era

I swear i lost my DRS over a dozen times with the Redbull cars

In general I really really like the new AI. The only things that really bother are the straight line speed and the pin point starts. If those were nerved a little bit I'd say this is up there as the best f1 title. On track at least

I have had trouble around 70 with this games AI for some reason.

the immersive pit stop timing doesn't alight with the panel shown, and it almost seems like it doesn't align with the timer. i'm not writing this with an angry mindset, i can get an optimal pitstop almost every time. the immersive pitstop is fundamentally broken and generally stupid.

I'd rather them complety get rid of immersive pitstops, and fix the weird steering animation that you get that has been in the game for 10 years

How do you put the overtake graph higher up on the screen ? The default is alot lower.

I would overshadow/dim your camera to let us see the mirror

How do u change the ERS deploy option? I can't get to it. It's always on medium. It goes down by itself when I'm trying to save it
