The packaging looks amazing! People in Asia do prefer more naturally looking “no makeup, makeup” looks. So colors tend to be more saturated on the skin, and lipsticks are usually just blotted onto lips for an innocent look. That’s just the vibe in Asia.

Some Asians take offense if you are not specific of what region you're talking about since people are usually referring to East Asians when they say Asia/Asian. And I know you're referring to East and possibly *some* Southeast Asian countries, right? I'm pretty sure, for the most part, that they do their makeup differently in South, West and Central Asia (not everyone of course); it's probably still less dramatic than US style makeup but not as "natural, no makeup" looking as they do it in East Asia.

No...the elephant in the room is the fact you look refreshed, so much happier and you look like a whole new person - the hair, the brows, your features are really coming through. I am actually stunned to see how you look, in the best ways. But what I am more stunned about is your ENERGY. I hope I'm not counting the chickens before they hatch (ranch reference) but I can almost sense some major growth, MATURITY development, and some self-love connecting with this absence. I think you moving away from all the drama, that toxic city, and everyone around you, separating completely is the best thing you could have done. I also did this, I grew so much as a person when I disconnected completely and moved away. A REAL fresh start. The internet is the other thing, taking that break is so needed and I think over 3/4 of people don't think to do that because it's become a necessity, an addiction, a "must-have". Then the ones like yourself, myself, and many others - we create businesses based online - so, of course, it makes it 100x harder. But I think this separation you have done has really grown you as a person and I hope this is truly the case because 2022 is really all about rebirth. I hope in this year I can work hard enough to continue saving to escape and have my own ranch (I grew up in the country and miss it terribly). There is something about the country, nature and everything earth has to offer around you while youre in the country that you definitely do not get in the city, and city people DO NOT understand or have ever experienced themselves. Honestly - I wish you the best Jeffree. I've been watching you and following you since MySpace days, in fact, we actually friended each other way back then but there is no way in hell you'd remember me now, same with Christine Dolce (rip). I bought this makeup last year and it does not disappoint. Even more stunning in person. The shadows are more sheer but on purpose. The lipstick is gorgeous. Literally everything is awesome. I can't say enough good things about their makeup.

Small facts: this brand is really affordable in China, especially with holiday sale. The reason why US price is a bit higher is because all the taxes 😂 I mean A LOT of taxes

the lipstick is actually a part of chinese culture! A lock that actually symbolises something that the Immortal who is in charge of love will use to lock two person's fate together, creating a love between them. It's known as a 同心锁 (One-heart lock or Concentric lock or love lock). Giving this to your lover is like a promise of love for an eternity, allowing two hearts to become one for an eternity etc. My translation skills aren't the greatest but I'm trying my best to actually explain all these hahaha like It's a common gift for boyfriends to give their girlfriends such lipsticks since it's like a love language thing

We as a culture are so expectant of big and bold so to us we expect the colours to give so much pigmentation that we have to blend it down but they are the opposite in their makeup. If you watch any Korean, Chinese, or Japanese traditional makeup it looks as if they don’t have any makeup on. They use makeup to only enhance their features and give them a very beautiful within looks. The package and the makeup itself are stunning and I think it’s important to have a different viewpoint when considering this brand.

This brand of make up is called 花西子(huaxizi), Florasis (implying flower goddess) in English. It's a rather new but famous Chinese brand that brands themselves for using natural herbs and ingredients to produce good and clean make up. There's many good info on Wikipedia (in Chinese though) if you want to know more about the brand before buying their products.

Because he has very strong features and prominent brow bones, even without brows the shadow that his bones create mimicks the look of eyebrows, so when he has his eyebrows back he doesn't seem too different from his usual look

So, I haven't watched Jeffree's videos in mmmmm maybe 2 years.. Damn, this is a great look. Absolutely love it. The hair, the eyebrows. GORGEOUS HONEYYY!

I just cried to God that day I just said I was sorry didn't know which God or anything. The next day the very next day I was on a computer looking for the truth and I was never on a computer before. Not this way I used to use the computer to watch p*** and rock and roll videos that was it. For a month and a half I started looking for the truth of the world I couldn't stop. I looked into everything from flat Earth to reptilians to the Vrill society. Then there was exposing videos of all famous KZreadrs selling their souls to the devil world leaders famous athletes musicians it was all of them. That's how they get their power they have to do it God made it that way. Anyways after seeing all this I also saw a testimonies of heaven and Hell which really freaked me out because I could tell those people weren't lying. So after seeing all this stuff one day I repented my sins to Jesus. Jesus answered my prayer of that day letting me know he was real and I did the right thing. After that I quit the obvious sins smoking drinking drugs p***. Then God filled me with the Holy Spirit show me the rest of my sins. Then he started giving me dreams about the end times. So you cannot believe all you want but I'm not the only one there's plenty of people talking about the end times because God's calling the whole world to repentance. Cuz he's really going to judge the world. God showed me he's going to remove his church and all the children on the Earth. You showed me Barack Obama will be the Antichrist and offer the mark of the beast and the one world religion. And he said anybody who takes the mark automatically goes to hell. So if you don't get right with Jesus you're going to have to die a horrible death no matter what you're going to have to get your head cut off for not taking the mark of the beast or you take the mark of the beast and you go to hell forever. So if I was you I would literally just confess and turn from sin at home to Jesus like I did because that offers only on the table for so long once he removes his church you have to suffer.

Jeffree with these brows is GORGEOUS. Still an alien fantasy always- so gorgeous.

The collection is by far the most beautiful I've ever seen so far packaging wise. I'm not that impressed with the colour payoffs on the eyeshadows. But then again they are from China. And their makeup culture is way more subtle and softer than the western makeup culture which is more pigmented, punchy, intense and very in-your-face colour payoffs. As consumers, its more about making choices and knowing what you like and establishing your own makeup style. Some people like softer applications so this collection is for those people.

Hello Jeffree, thank you for your review. i thought the same about the eyeshadow as well, but i recently bought a lot of Florasis products and were gifted their brushes. their brushes were actually made of synthetic fibre and picks up their pigments really well....the fibres were dense, and you will find that some of the glittery or metalic eye shadow is somewhat cream in nature in which case the synthetic fibres complimented the performance of the es. FYI Each palette has an engraving that tells of a poem or legend.

I have been following you for years and am glad to see how your taking out time for yourself Jeffrey . You came back more fierce than ever! I remember a couple of years ago crying when I saw your videos along with you. Spending time with self 😌 was exactly what you needed to heal your pain. I'm so proud of you . One day I myself decided I needed to take time to find myself in a world where I feel like I was always trying to appease everyone but myself . With alot if reprogramming and self discovery I am now the best version if myself and everyday I learn more about myself 💋 😘

For example, cellphone plan costs me 3 dollars in China, whereas I pay 50 a month in Canada for less data. florasis is actually considered mid-high range in local makeup brands in China, even though you think it is cheap

For those curious as to the packaging of the lipstick, they're designed in the shape of ancient Chinese locks that were used in the past. The "key" part you push to get the lipstick out is where the actual key goes. You put the key in, push it and the locking mechanism comes off. So cool to see they integrated it into a lipstick container design.

I've known this brand for a while and their products are flawless. Every single item just gives of the feeling that a ton of work was put into it. Also: even though I hate how wasteful a lot of makeup packaging is - they get a free pass. Because THIS is packaging you keep. God damn, I never thought 花西子 would make it to Jeffree. This feels unreal. Here is the thing, This brand is one of the most popular Chinese indigenous brands, known for its packaging and depiction of Chinese aesthetics. Its quality, on the other hand...meh. I mean, I would give it a passing grade. It just does not match up to its packaging in my opinion. I buy them for collecting purposes. But compared to many foreign brands which mean taxes and shipping, it is actually cheaper. Two words - worth it. I feel really proud and happy that Chinese makeup finally has some exposure here, and people around the world get to see how beautiful it is. There are also many other creative Chinese indigenous makeup brands that are not only way cheaper but also amazingly beautiful. Thank you so much, Jeffree!

@@goguma46 Alright get ready girl, I've got a list. My personal favorite is Croxx, they aim for the luxurious gothic feel, I FUCKING LOVE IT. I feel like a rich, smart, powerful widowed countess from the 16th century holding her eye shadow pallet, like Cinderella's stepmother. Its quality is alright, better than this one in the video in my opinion. The packaging is not as detailed as fluoresces but on point. But this is a rather small brand, even many Chinese buyers do not know it. And 10 hours after this post, I just found out that the brand is now shut down by the Chinese government. Girl Cult is another one. They use ideas from ancient Chinese literature about goblins, yokai, and mountain spirits in their packaging. It is so adorable yet unique, not your everyday cuteness. I honestly feel like this brand is what Luna Lovegood would use. They are known for their blushes. Or at least is what I know them for. They have many other lines. Then there is the famous brand called the Perfect Dairy, they have so many lines, and you can probably get it even in the U.S. Its quality is generally okay (better than fluoresces), but just like all other brands, they also have products that are like shit. Its packaging is not as astounding but it is quite cute. There is also one that is cheap, great quality, but a really normal packaged brand named Spenny. Its products are cheap as hell, but its quality, girl, above and beyond, at least for its price. Now I don't know with taxes and shipping if it is still worth it getting it in the U.S. But for a cheap girl here in China, my go-to. I even want to post a video and tell you guys about it. Cuz there is so many. Have you ever had somebody ask you about your favorite thing？ That is how I feel right now🤣

Also, many factories there make very poor quality items and should I mention the BILLIONS in fake designer look-alikes they ship over here illegally? He is only talking about that brand not the whole picture. There is good reason China has the reputation it has.

I really appreciate that Jeffree didn’t bash the pigmentation or this being a more natural makeup. We all know he lives for pigment and bold shades so usually natural makeup just doesn’t impress him but I think he was really nice, fair and did this brand justice. Makeup looks in countries are so different too so of course makeup from China will be different from USA makeup. China is more about skincare and natural beauty and enhancing what they have. Us here in America….not so much lol. We do have natural makeup trends come and go but nothing like China. I think this brand was gorgeous and I loved the 2nd lipstick he tried, the pinkish neutral color. I don’t know how popular this brand is but I hope they get a lot of sales bc of this, they deserve it. They clearly care about the details.

@@spookayitsme a lot of brands test on animals…maybeline, L’Oréal ect so… plus China requires animal testing by law, not saying it’s right but this brand quite literally doesn’t have a choice

just got a whole bunch of these and reading the stories behind the designs really add to the experience - the peacock for example honouring the Dai minority who live across China and Myanmar. The love story of an encounter with a goddess engraved across the palettes. Not to mention the herbal ingredients taken from ancient techniques - absolutely stunning all round user experience

I love that you’re back! You look absolutely beautiful, your whole sense of being seems to be in peace. If that makes sense lol! But you just seem a little less stressed, and more focused. I love that make up it is so gorgeous, even just to have the compact laying on your nightstand or vanity I’m sorry, that would be beautiful. I can’t wait to see what this year brings! I really appreciate that you don't just be like "not enough pigment, next" like some other beauty gurus when reviewing products aimed for Asian market where the beauty standards are different. I'm in absolute awe how stunning that peacock powder is, would buy it in an heartbeat!

Love how Jeffree is trying Asian brands. I do agree with the pigments. They’re not as strong as the brands Jeffree makes (or The Western side makeup community makes). For me, it doesn’t pop out in person and in camera photos but it does give more of like a subtle “natural” color on your skin. Love the lipstick shade done on their lips. It’s how mostly some of us do where we darken the center then fades on the edges of our lips. (Reminds me of how Koran Idols on K-dramas) they usually top it off either Matte looking or gloss. Whichever you prefer it would look plump and gorgeous! IMHO I think the Korean brands would “last longer” 😁

I’f love to see Etude House, Dolly wink, heavy rotation & other korean/japanese Brands & their collabs & for him to do these typical looks like, ulzzang, gyaru, natural beauty (korean, japanese), visual kei…etc that would be cool. At the same time I’m hesitant to support JS bco he’d been disgustingly problematic for decades & the apologies seemed genuine, but now I feel like it was manipulation…I’m still not sure if it’s growth or just a mask. Not here to be a downer, but I think it’s important to talk abt who ppl wants to support give the power & resources to…There are so many talented ppl that work just as hard, that never Get the shine…even if we made them a star, they’d light & bright up the day & guide us through the night.

@@miracraigfan1738 I hope you don’t misunderstand me commenting on one of his channels… It’s just I couldn’t help but comment since I use Asian brands because western brands make my skin break out and seeing this made me excited… I am not well-versed with the make-up community but I do know enough to stay a bit far away because it can be a bit narcissistically-inclined with problems 😅 I do know of his past and his actions and I’m not here to forcefully tell him he should change because I think it does take a while for anyone to understand and fully grasped what they did wrong.. in my case, it took me a while to “mature”. I’ve regret things I’ve done in the past maybe not the same way as Jeffree did but who am I judge how severe that may be? (Not implying he should be excused). The point is, me commenting here doesn’t mean I fully support what he does when he “gets out of hand” especially when it involves getting angry… i hope I did not misunderstand anything by commenting on his channel… I do agree with what you’ve said though! I’d love to see gyaru and ulzzang done with Asian products (I’d like to learn as well). I’m not a make up artist so my knowledge of makeup is very basic even if JS himself shows hundred of videos about it I’m just not that good enough because I don’t understand colors much 😅 I’m intimidated by it.

It’s a hit and miss but I think you’ll definitely love them! I’ve noticed Asian make up products put a lot of effort with aesthetics on their product especially the boxes and designs on each pallet like the ones JS showed! Oh and some of them have scents too!

those subtle looks where nice, the ones that actually worked i mean. JFC has some amazing makeup on their own, but if you combined his products with these, gurl you'd be slaying that run way.

I cannot convey the depth of my jealousy that you got that fucking GORGEOUS, AMAZiNG PR package. I have been selling off most of my makeup collection to make room for makeup like this… makeup and packaging that are ART!!! I love the peacock powder thing. It has a vintage feel. Old makeup with those classic powder applicators & that fabulous I’m-at-my-grandma’s-house-smell.

Even though you OWN the no eyebrows look I can't help but love how expressive you look with them on!

This makeup and packaging is everything! Really pretty!

I just gotta say, before I watch you try the makeup, that you look soooo stunning in the beginning of the video. The hair, the eyebrows and minimal makeup ❤ gonna keep watching now 😁

I actually bought this a couple months back, and I love it. Their cushion foundation is very light and decent coverage which I wanted. I am acne prone skin and it work well on my face. The eyeshadows is amazing and so is everything in the line. Everything are just amazing and beautiful and very nice to have on display

Jeffree is the only person I've seen that looks good, with or without eyebrows!!!

It’s not fair! I plucked all my eyebrows off in high school and they never grew back while he’s shaved his for years and they grew back flawlessly 😂😩

@@nicolewalsh6656 plucking can damage the root and make the hair never come back. Shaving doesn't touch the root. However, I'm sure he can afford a hair transplant for his eyebrows like he did for his hair line, so dont feel bad either way.
