You had haddock which always comes with skin on, you can ask for cod instead - this is without skin but is cooked to order so there's about a 10 min wait.

Salaam. Been working in Derby for 20 years. Heard Mcturks is good for donner - never been. But you need to try Edward Street Fish Bar in Burton - good value for money and huge large cod.

Definitely agree with the no skin! Batter has to be light and crispy. Got to be doing homemade fishcakes if you want to compete for the top spot aswell in my opinion 😅 although I don't mind those fishcakes reminds you of childhood

I recommend you try burgerhood in Derby and get the cheesyhood burger, which contains 2 different types of cheese.
