For those of us not sponsored by Mathews, GAS strings are habds down the best Ive tried. My Zebra strings died an early death up here in the PNW but the GAS Ghost XV's on my V3X 33 are holding strong many arrows past where the Zebras died.

Came here to look for a fan boy who would say this… I’ve been through 3 sets of gas for my v3-31 and trx 36 and have had nothing but issues with them.. peep twist and stretching…. GAS is more mass produced then any other company and there quality has fallen significantly…. Plus gas and zebra use the same BCY materials in their strings… the logo doesn’t make the BCY 452x that has uses any better then the BCY 452x that zebra uses… 😂😂😂

Question when changing bow string or cables don’t you have to turn down the limb bolts down lowering the poundage on the bow limbs so when you use the bow vise it won’t damage the limbs I didn’t see you do that the factory recommend lower the poundage on the bow before changing any bow string and cable

Hey Chris, I’ve made the decision to start working on my bow and I’ve noticed you’re running the same mods as I am on my Mathews v3x. My question is why you run 70 pound modules while your actual pull is above that? Where as my bow is set up currently with 70 lb modules and actual pull is 67lbs. Do they have a gray area or should I twist the control cable up to get dead 70 pounds or very close to it

Really depends on what you had before hand... Different materials react differently Different materials have different weights and diameters. And then to wrap it all up, your new set may not be the same lengths. For instance my factory set of Pse strings (because they anti clockwise twist strands which are made in a clock wise direction...) had elongated my Citations ATA by ½ inch. So in a way there's a good chance it will
