Love this I have one for my boy, it keeps him from eating too fast and keeps him amused. I put grass hay in his (first or second cut)and he manages to get it all out, it took a few tries to figure it all out but he gets all of it out now 💕💕💕😊

I don't know about this particular brand, but the one I've got if these I would be concerned of the hole size with a mini. It is big enough for a mini hoof to fit through and my pony's love to to kick and paw theirs. I'd recommend seeing them in person so you can judge the hole size first. xx

How long does it take to get all the hay out?

I loike it but at the end of the day how much hay were they actually able to get out of it?? It seems it won't all come out.

It's all about keeping them enriched and stimulated. The goal isn't necessarily feeding but activity and brain games. The little bit of hay they do get is rewarding enough to keep them going and interested. If they get it all, great, if not then supplement later. Hope this helps.

I just got these and mine are struggling to get it out. Can you overfill it and make it too hard to get out?

I have one. This is my opinion. If you stuff it to tight its hard for them to get it out. I pull the hay out through the holes to help him get started. I only use my at night for a snack feeding in his stall. (3) pounds. I think using them in the field for their supper, breakfast or lunch might get hard for them rolling all over and Especially if they hay doesn’t come out. I think I’m going to use the broken small pieces instead of lots of long hay pieces in the ball. That’s my thoughts. I do love mine. I’m very glad i got one. I feel the quality is very good. Good 🍀

If it were faster to fill I’d try it.

I don't know if I can ride a finder horse

Stuff some 🍎 or 🥕 in there. My horse loves her ball and is thrilled when extra treats fall out.

I have a horse that finder

(DANGER ! DANGER! DANGER) My wife is critical care nurse on a helicopter unit. last week they received a call on a horse getting his Toung caught in one of the holes and wasn't able to remove it. caused loads of damage. This ball is dangerous for your horse. up until last week we had one for our horses. my wife called me right after that call to get that ball out of our horses stall immediately. I'm surprise it still on the store shelves.
